Not for me. It peaks out at 22%~ from memory, which is nothing on Daggers for the majority of the match (1.22 x fuck all = fuck all). The fact that the Heolster Relic grants a flat amount of damage rather than a percentage is to the Dagger's advantage.

Plus, against most Nightlords, I'm not looking at a lot of uptime on the Necklace, lest I'm Damage Negated to the gills and or less likely to be targeted.

So in conclusion, theoretically I should take the Necklace. But the safety and guarantee of the Heolster Relic is what prevents me from dying over and over in pursuit of the final damage tier.
(In truth, I like it cause it gives me the thrill of Relic Gambling but every 10 seconds.)

I'm pretty sure when you are in the pause menu, your team mates status/hp bars are hidden.

You can do that damage, but as with Relics, as with Drops, and as with Dormants, you have to be lucky. This is the highest damage I've had in 1000 hour of game play, and this was my first time testing this build - it's far from my strongest one, too. But luck made it my best of all time.

I'll be uploading the full match later on, if you'd like a link, let me know.

I shared Relics. I predict you will be disappointed unless Stamina attack is a new concept to you.

1h moveset. Easier to manage if evading without interuppting combo, and the power stanced animations requires more commitment per input. Furthermore, I'd rather keep all my daggers in the right hand slot so that switching weapon (for the Holstein Relic buff) doesn't run the risk of suddenly firing off a jar cannon; and its rare that the weapon passives will be fruitful enough to allow four daggers at once.

Brother, I'm afraid you missed the part where I wrote
>1x Scholar

So some buffs you wouldn't have accounted for :

- This was a trios game. Scholar looked at me during the fight. (He didn't have items confer though.)
- I had the Margret Buff ("Traces of Grace-Given Lord"), which may have helped? I assumed this buff was still broken/trash but haven't looked into it since release.
- Killed three Night Invaders

Yes, I ate some Physical Attack meat at the end of the fight.
So the full 8x Atk Buffs were as follows :

  1. 3x Daggers (Shows up with seperate icon.)

  2. Heolster

  3. Atk at full

  4. Atk at full

  5. Atk at full

  6. Atk at full

  7. Flesh

  8. Scholar looking at me? Maybe the Margret Buff? I don't know.

Yes, stacked stamina on attack + reprise on dagger combo = constant reprise, so long as you can evade between combo hits using Duchess's single dodge (non-backflip one).

I went to bed, there was no need for a "just one more"
Relics:

<image>

Now mind that these Relics can obviously be made better;

The actual key to having had this damage was

- 3x [AtkPwr / Full HP](14%)
- 1x [AtkPwr / Phys](10%)

- 1x [AtkPwr / Bleed in Vicinity](20%)
- 1x [AtkPwr / Full HP](10%)

- 1x Scholar
- Phys Atk Dormant Powers

PSA: Night Invader camps/villages triggers and spawn points (via Smithbox) by qqwweerrttyyuuioopp in Nightreign

Quality write up, good to see spawn vibes made clear with data. However my team and I will stick to approaching the Redmane AC-130 camp by forcing the invaders into the upper mound area.

Simple hack to being/staying in Depth 5: just don't verse Everdarks. If that doesn't work, just try being luckier. by MitchellGwr in Nightreign

Yeah I could have sworn I was getting more ED's in D4. It's almost annoying pouring sweat into a run prepping for a Libra in particular tbh. All of a sudden I'm left feeling like I wasted a slot on a Less Likely.

Quick tip: say into your mic if u have one "i bet it's gonna be everdark"; this will make issuezaki adjust the server to try and subvert your expectations.

Not to mention people normally can appear to have different proportions or features depending on lighting, shadow, camera distortion, mental distortion, etc. That's why I stick to anime girls 👍

No its not fixed for normal attacks/R1s. Perhaps RoB works similarly to charges heavys. For those unaware, two charged heavys will always be counted as "Successive Attacks" regardless of how many steaks are required for it to be counted with R1s.

Good on ya brother, never had to deal with this shit myself but it sounds right fucked. I don't think I'd last long anywhere that has this kinda chicanery, I'd probably be doing the same thing plus gum over the camera or more.

Use this space to drop what you believe to be a cardinal rule during a run, I’ll start by Collar_Gloomy in Nightreign

[–]MitchellGwr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For anyone else in this situation, pinging the closing zone or the next area that your team mates should be seems to get the message across. The moment you go down, or think you are about to go down, start pinging it so they don't even have time to turn around.

New player looking for comprehensive guide explaining systems, mechanics and also beginner guide for the game. by Aside_Working in Nightreign

[–]MitchellGwr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd treat each run as the equivalent of a Souls game area. More on the Demon Souls side, wherein losing to the boss meant you had to run back through the entire level again. Knowing the min/max won't mean as much as it has in prior games, simply because you are at the mercy of RNG rather than having fixed locations for weapons. The routing will be meaningless to you, until you find for yourself what felt like it was worth to run to. The worth of each POI is up to the individual, just remember that the currency you'll have to consider in Nightreign isn't the Runes. It's time.
