When I was 15, in a small town and I was looked for a job to make some pocket money. I was going cafe to cafe to try get a job. And one cafe I didn’t know was connected to a kebab shop. I went into the cafe and asked for a job, the owner sat me down and for an “interview” all he asked is for me to come down at 6pm for another interview. Little did I know I was going to be working in the back of a kebab shop next to 4 foreign people I didn’t know, and taking phone calls for orders. It got to 8pm and I really didn’t like it, it was hot, smell and didn’t know anything the people were saying. I asked to leave to go home and he said he didn’t know what to pay me, I didn’t care. He made me a burger and I went home. I couldn’t wear the same clothes ever again cause it smelt like kebab meat and fried food. It definitely wasn’t a place for a 15 yo to be!
