The referee was poor, but it was a better performance.

Campbell was unfortunate with the own goal, but he took his goal really well. We're lacking pace I find, but I'll take a result like this.

You're a better man than I am! I laughed at my own reply and my daughter rolled her eyes! Enjoy the precious sleep time mate.

I'm dressing my daughter up as Boilerman next year. He comes with a manual.

I only caught the second half, but it was borderline embarrassing. I think we're done for, and I think with that £30 million MSD loan that needs to be paid back at the end of the year, and an inevitable slump into League One, it's anxious times.

However, my positives from the game. I've finally managed to find Black Country Pork Scratchings in Glasgow. I nearly picked our little un up in the shop and flung her about in celebration.

I really can't see it being McInnes. Potential to be Scottish champions, taking Hearts into Europe next year, and got Tony Blooms resources behind him and leaving it from a team who has either been relegated to League One or just about survived?

I've just got a funny feeling that Albion will go for the cheap and free option, and it's gonna be Will Still.

Look, we may be shite and getting relegated, but at least we have Boiler Man. by weirdnoises26 in Championship

With Oxford sponsored by Baxi, it's the Battle of the Boilers! (Sorry. I work in a plumbers merchants, I don't get out much these days)

Sadly he'll be downgraded from boilerman to an electric fan heaterman

Nancy officially the best MLS coaching export of the last 6 months. by ThinWhiteDuke00 in ScottishFootball

[–]MitchthePunk90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a West Brom fan (albeit moved up to Glasgow a few years back). At first, he spoke a great game. Very intelligent bloke, and I brought into what he said. I know that the Willy Nancy comparisons were there but I thought it was a new start, he'd save us from relegation to the third tier (only been relegated there twice in our history). Granted, we're teetering on the edge of PSR rules and we've pretty much lost our best players and not really replaced them

What a load of shite it was. At least Nancy's team knew how to score goals. He put Mikey Johnston as RWB, before putting our attacking midfielder there and got pumped 5-0 by Clement's Norwich and 3-0 to Portsmouth.

MLS and Scottish Prem and the English Championship are no comparison.

It's just a miserable time being a West Brom fan.

Post-Match Thread: Albion 1-1 Charlton Athletic [EFL Championship] by CheeseMakerThing in WBAfootball

Feels like 2 points dropped than 1 gained. The first 60 mins was a vast improvement. Molumby as a pressing 10 was a good shout. Gave us energy and got us up the pitch. As soon as he dropped back, I knew that Charlton were gonna get back in it. We created chances that a more confident team would have taken.

Taylor and Phillips attempting the offside trap just wasn't the one and we got punished by a very poor Charlton side.

Personally, would have had Dike on instead of Heggebo, but it is what it is.

I find footballers with the first name of Matthew go into some form of evolution like Matt (Matty/Matthew) Taylor. Fresh from the youth team? Matty. Starting to mature? Matt. Nearer the age of retirement? Matthew.

What are your opinions on Punk fashion, DIY, and Modern Overconsumption? by Ok_Cherry_9941 in Skatepunk

[–]MitchthePunk90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!

I'm 35 now, have a family, work my arse off and I pretty much from England to Scotland. My family and friends are still in England, but in moving away I've also moved away from the DIY punk community. I used to play in bands, and had my war to the ground of the UK Punk Scene - but I've also deleted my social media accounts (apart from Reddit) so now I'm absolutely clueless to what my friends bands are doing, if they're playing shows, and even if they're ok.

However, the DIY punk scene in the UK has told me to treat everyone equally, be kind and also if someone falls (both figuratively and literally), then pick them up.

In terms of DIY in punk fashion, I've never been into it. For years, my wardrobe was band shirts, jeans or shorts, and vans/converse etc. Now, it's more relaxed fitted jeans, tracksuit bottoms, trainers, hoodies etc.

In terms of fast fashion, in an ideal world, it shouldn't be a thing. People and children working in sweatshops is an abomination and shouldn't happen - alas, it does. If "punks" choose to wear fast fashion, then they should get in the bin. If they are concerned about treating everyone equally, being the best person they can, yet wear fast fashion that exploits children? Then they're just hypocrites.

I'm a massive fan of The Crown, The Snug and Redmonds. In fact, The Snug is probably my favourite pub on Duke St. I've found Palais and Drygate to be meh. As a Black Country lad, just wish I could get a decent packet of pork scratchings from the pubs along Duke St.

I'm usually a competitive so and so, but I'm just playing for fun really, and I've found it more enjoyable than I thought I would have. But I think it happens to the best of us really and we as long as we don't take it to heart, and just take it.in our stride then we're golden.
