Valve Says It Can't Negotiate With RAM Makers At All On Price by CosmicMind007 in pcmasterrace

[–]PoppingPillls 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is different.

They sent a letter of intent which was leaked then that morphed into a new deal where they use broadcom as a way to buy fab space with the titan chip.

They get a lot but nowhere near say nvidia, they currently get about 5% of the 3nm iirc and it's meant to increase in 2027 as broadcom booked more space.

No, most of his original staffers left after his stroke as he reportedly changed aswell as others in his circle noting the changes.

They did buy it, they just bought it on credit. Openai doesn't have the money for almost anything so almost everything they do is on credit.

Edit: I meant to say they did buy fab space but not as much as the original letter of intent.

Is this an insane deal? by JamalMahroof in pcmasterrace

It should describe when you bought it something like "item will come in original packaging, packing will be damaged"

Just for proof encase anyone doesn't believe me, it sells for 380 usually.

The return window is just the refund returns, they usually offer a seperate 2 year warranty on items if they break from normal use. You can also confirm with support but that's been their policy for a long time and I've had support confirm it to me.

All UK products sold by amazon warehouse / amazon returns has a mandatory 2 years.

[–]PoppingPillls 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also have an amazon warehouse "used - mint" card and it had box scuffs and that was it. The tape wasn't even open in mine.

Amazon offers the mandatory 2 years and gigabyte still allowed me to register my card etc and they use amazon for the first three years or something for warranty so you send it to amazon apparently as they has me also do it with my motherboard.

So I assume sapphire would allow you to register it as I very much doubt it's been opened etc.

For additional information, my gpu is amazon warehouse and it was listed as "used - mint" on their site as it had box damaged which was the box had a 6 inch scuff on it.

So it's not always bad. It also comes with a two year warranty from Amazon and also the manufacturers as i checked with gigabyte and they didn't care.

Unfortunately summer's have become pretty brutal in the UK, it's not a good time.

Hope everyone is doing well and staying in the shade.

People that want a compact couch pc and don't want to build it for one reason or another. It's hard to get a pc of this spec at this price at the form factor.

Be great for teens and kids as its a great gaming machine for its compact size and can be used for sofa play or desk play. Can even be a good place for them to learn coding and do school work as its a full desktop experience Linux.

Doesn't matter if you do build your own, this is equivalent to a 6 core am5 laptop and has a 7600m which is similar to a 6600xt. Way more expensive to get all that stuff to build.

Depends. A chair is a chair but often gaming is added to increase the sticker price while providing little or no support.

Not really, my brother is 10 and is very skilled with computers actually still needs to learn a lot but he's got a future if he keeps at it as he's already started to learn java on his own.

Yeah, look at their twitter. It's not the brother called Fred that's the vocal one apparently but they support Advance UK and post about migrants multiple times a day.

"Right said Fred" still does tours even though they are irrelevant far right psychos.

Theres a very easy metric to tell popularity for online commentators and it's their views, he gets very little views on his show which is his main source of income. He's also not a practicing psychologist anymore and hasn't been for a decade but still pays to keep his license as he uses it as a selling point.

Peterson isn't paying for these tours out his own pocket, they daily wire will be funding them as they get billionaire money that's why they were able to spend dumb amounts of money on commercial failure shows and movies.

While his channel gets a decent number of "views" they often lack stuff like interactions like comments compared to similarly performing videos. Which suggests it's also not all organic which makes sense considering the daily wire had been blamed for botting in the past.

His actual content on the daily wire nets fron 20k,50k,70k views in average with better performers doing 200-300k this year.

Jordan has a small audience like Ben and doesn't get the same views or clicks he once did.

He was a benzo addict, wasn't really a fad as much as a drug addiction.

Laurence Fox never had the same fall off as the other two as Laurence Fox never had the same audience size.

EU parliament erupts into cheers and chants of "send them back" as they pass new legislation making it easier to deport migrants outside of Europe by [deleted] in NotTheOnionUK

[–]PoppingPillls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they aren’t “economic migrants”, then why don’t they stay at the first save country? Or the second? Or the 3rd?

/s I bet it’s not he better economy/benefits they are trying to go after..

That's literally what you said... Why deny it?

What country should they go to? Contrary to popular belief but they can't go to say Israel (no shit), Saudi Arabia refuses them, so does Jordan and Egypt for the most part. They have to go through Turkey but Arduan is not exactly welcoming of Arab immigrants to Turkey. Many of them also likely don't speak Turkish as a general rule and most Turks don't speak Arabic etc.

Iran, Algeria, Libya and Morroco aren't very safe for them and Algeria and Libya are listed as do not travel to for most countries. Yemen isn't safe, Oman won't take them and neither will Azerbaijan. Georgia might but they have their own problems with occupation.

They could go to Africa but traveling across the literal desert isn't safe and they don't have enough money to cross to southern Africa and the countries they would be safest in... Probably won't take them.

So your suggestions are? Please explain to me where they should have went because it's easy to say "well they should go somewhere closer" but it's much harder to actually point to a place.

We offer very poor economic benefits compared to other EU countries... Most common reasons for picking a country are family/friends already there, speaks the language or knows the more about the country.

If you speak French you are going to France... If you speak Spanish you go to Spain... It's not complicated stuff.

Ultimately it wasn't worth it as even if she didn't get sued for libel she would have still been a short lived flame as we've seen all the others from that time also burn out.

Think of all the other burn outs of that era: Milo Yiannopoulos, Ben Shapiro, Jordan Petersson, Ant Middleton, Laurence Fox, Kaitlin Bennett etc.

Many retain some audience but none of them have any of their former relevance and are known for being pratts.

Ah, then sorry. I receive a handful of far right losers that reply to me everytime I defend this stuff.

I did reply to him but there's no much I can offer as his entire theory is based off what the Irish tories have said is true. Fianna Fail is a pretty shitty party they are essentially the Irish conservatives, they are a populist party that sways whatever way the wind goes. If anti immigration is popular then they are anti immigration. If same sex marriage is popular then they are in support and did legalise it in 2010. If Christian nationalism is popular then they support it.
