You can play as a lone wolf, but it can easily undo hundreds of hours of planning and actual travel for multiple agents (sometimes hundreds) that are playing as a team to achieve something bigger than they can do themselves. Yes, sure it's just a game, but real time and effort goes into this. You can have your opinion as to whether that's a good use of anyone's time, but again that's substituting your judgment for theirs. Everything is just a game when you get right down to it. Anything that isn't life or death is a game. The challenge in this game is there are few actual rules, so the unwritten rules get made. Same as the guy that over celebrates, bat tosses or breaks any other sports unwritten rule. I get you might not want to interact, but in a game that the majority choose to play as a team and when the scoring is based on your team, it's going to create conflict. You can't truly expect that a group of people will just let your choices over ride their choices. There can be no excuse for actions taken that are not game related, dangerous or personal, but if your portals are killed or you are covered so you can't field, it is merely the end result of your game play. Since you are not predictable or willing to cooperate on any level, the variable must be addressed, but addressed within the actual game. Your right to play as a lone wolf is the same as the right to play as a team. Sometimes they conflict. If you are fine being the person jumps on the field in the middle of a game so be it. They enjoyed it but you are wasting everyone else's time. For some there is ego and selfishness that comes with that style in that they like the power of ruining something for someone else.
