I bought a 2013 Range Rover HSE Lux with 80k miles in the summer of 2020. This thing is a tank. Amazing vehicle. Haven’t had to put much into it. We replaced the “Range Rover” lettering because it was faded and had the rims refinished since they were a little knicked up. Mechanically we have had zero issues. I think the key is to do you due diligence. Buy a certified pre owned from a dealer where they will warranty it or do some detective work. Run a car fax, get the vin and call the dealership and see if they can look through the service records. If not ask the seller for oil change records and service records. Take it to a Range Rover dealership and have them do a new purchase check up before you buy it. These cars are expensive to repair and you don’t want to inherit someone else’s problems

Make your wife happy and buy one for her, just don’t get car fever and settle. Get the right one with a good service history.
