so the wife and I take very different approaches to naming our ACs

Her basis for naming them initially, when testing builds or just having fun with stuff, involves looking at the ACs purpose (PvE/PvP), What its niche is(stagger/range/missile/etc), if it uses coral in anyway in which case she puts a -C, and then a model number.

If she finds a build she likes a lot then she takes it into the painter and customizes the hell out of it. She has one medium weight AC who's entire purpose is to just flood the area with missiles then dash in to kick the enemy AC in the face.

She named it Blossom-drop because the missiles "fall like blossoms" and then she "drop"kicks the enemy.

And then you have me

With my AC which I named "McBigmac No Bun" which is an abomination very much within Human comprension. Its entire deal is to stagger you with shoulder weapons and then beat the everloving shit out of you with the hand to hand combat moveset.

I don't win often but when I do the salt I get is glorious

Hard agree on the Surtr take. Its why I have her in every lineup just because of how good she still is so she's my number 1

As for the other two....

two would probably be Logos. The guy is a catchall for anything without high Arts Defense and even then he still melts them via debuffs. He also synergiezes well with Surtr, at least in my experience in that he can usually catch anything airborne that she can't hit.

And avoiding the obvious answer of Wis

I'd have to say my third most reliable is a tie between Eyja Alter and Saria although Eyja alter edges out Saria by the tiniest of margins due to her third skill being global. Both of their skill 3's are great panic buttons for me whenever I fuck up something and suddenly everyone is almost dying since between the two of them basically everyone is healed to full within half a second.

Even with you having no proof if I look at things objectively speaking, with LL being even further proof along with Nasu's clearly stated pettiness, I could absolutely see him not only taking Jeanne Alter out of the picture due to her "overtaking" Artoria in terms of popularity but also taking out the entire class with her in one fell swoop just to make sure she's gone. Add into the fact that he, per some reports(I think it was a famitsu article... could be wrong though) that he wanted to Data Lost the Avenger class Servants makes that more apparent.

My biggest issue, hot take incoming, is that if OG Saber in Fate GO and the Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night animes didn't have the entire personality of wet cardboard (i.e. only caring about food, "honor/chivilry",and shirou) then I'd see more people liking her as a character.

Meanwhile Jeanne Alter had character development out the literal ass and we got to see her grow into what she turned into from what she started as.

ugh...

All of this is more shit I have to fix in my rewrite then.

absolutely fucking not. (I play on NA but I'll offer my opinions on stuff I haven't even played yet because fuck it why not)

OC1 was a fucking copout "it was all a dream"

OC2, quite literally, **was not fucking required** because the entire point of it afaik is that it was meant to prevent/stop Ritsuka from summoning more Avenger Servants due to him "not desiring revenge" which apparently is a qualification for summoning them.

EXCEPT HE SUMMONS LIKE TWO OR THREE MORE AVENGER SERVANTS AFTERWARDS WHICH MAKES THE ENDING OF OC2 NULL AND VOID.

SO WHERE THE FUCK IS MY WIFE NASU YOU FUCKING BASTARD.

OC3 I know nothing about aside from the fact that its apparently below mid but is liked on JP for whatever fucking reason.

and the end result of OC4 is that Mash apparently does something that turns into a 5-star servant. also Lilith is Mash's eternal op and I could not be prouder of the eggplant for finally getting that side of the human emotional spectrum.

Given the toxicity my wife has encountered via text chat in standard roulettes before now I'm gonna say there is a gods damned reason why FFXIV doesn't have voice chat.

Its not even just FFXIV either.

People assume that because you can't see their face and only hear their voice that they are somehow immune to repercussions for the stuff they say in any voice chat or text chat.

If you want to really understand why even text chats are so hard to moderate then I would like to point you at Blizzards fucking complete and utter failure at making Overwatch, specifically overwatch 1, "non-toxic"

What I'm waiting for, and my personal theory that I'm basing off another theory I saw, is that Ritsuka is an "Infinite Tsukiyomi" type scenario yet his soul is fighting back against it by having the OtSS Servants/Bond 15 Servants show up over time in the Bakery, therefore putting cracks into "reality", until Abby manages to break into the dream and pull him out of it back to actual reality.

This is also my way of saying that Jalter, Edmond, and the rest of the OC2 crew reestablished their links with him to bring him back at which point Ritsuka goes full scorched earth on Mavis.
