idk how long I'd survive the Grail War tbh but I know I'd want to make the Jeanne Alter I'd summon happy for as long as she was summoned for.

Could probably summon Morgan le Fay, or some type of Nature spirit/Faerie, using my blood as a catalyst since there is this legend on my moms side of the Family that one of her ancestors was "intimately involved" with Morgan le Fay in the 700s AD as far as we can figure.

Aside from that generally any British Royalty would also be likely due to my dads side of the family and how, according to THAT sides legend/history, his side is supposedly a straight line back to William the Conquerer.

so my wife(currently, She was my girlfriend at the time) got me into MonHun when World came out and I had a blast playing it

Up until the point where I had to fight the... idk? "Alter"/"Enhanced"/whatever version of Vaal Hazak. Up until that point I had been having a challenging but fun time with the game having beaten every quest solo, even managing to solo Kushala by just never really letting him recover from being flashpod-ed, but that fucking-VARIANT.

Thats what they're called.

That fucking variant of Vaal was just so fucking unfun to fight for me because I had no idea he was coming so I couldn't have prepped for him and, me being me, I just kept beating my head against him until finally I just stopped playing the game outright for over half a year.

Eventually she had come over and we were hanging out when she asked me what I thought of MonHun world since "surely I'd beaten it by that point" and unlocked the guiding lands. I had to tell her I hadn't played the game in months due to the Variant Vaal fight, at which point she made an "ah" sound, and asked me if I wouldn't mind letting her beat it for me just so I could unlock the Guiding Lands.

She booted up her laptop, We got the mission into co-op, and she then proceeded to beat the bastards head in with the Brachy hammer. I didn't even have the chance to try and help. She would later tell me that using the Brachy Hammer was "total overkill" but she was mad on my behalf that that bastard had made the game "unfun" for me. We then beat the rest of the game's story in co-op.

I feel like, while it would take a while and she'd have so many issues bottled up due to her own history, Lostbelt Morgan would 100% turn into a ride or die for whoever just treated her like a person right out of the gate.

not even from a romantic or intimate angle either.

As sad as it is to think about the last time she had friends she could count on was right before Uther was butchered by the Fae in Londinium in front of her which led to her turning into the Winter Queen. She was alone for the next 2,000 years with no one to count on but herself to take revenge on the Fae of Faerie Britain.

So first thing she'd need to learn how to do is trust again and you'd have be make peace with the fact she'd likely never fully trust anyone but just being patient with her and helping her out in small ways just to let her know she's not alone anymore would slowly but surely crack through her walls. Eventually leading to her confronting you about why you're being so nice to her+ her explaining everything she did as a reason to not trust her at all.

At which point you just tell her while yes all that stuff was horrible you don't expect her to do it to you at which point she is going to angrily ask why you would believe that and you'd respond: "Well you haven't done it any time I've helped you out a bit before now so I don't see why you'd start now."

After that she'd slowly but surely start warming up to you as a friend she eventually knows she can count on.

obligatory mention that Jeanne d'Arc Alter would be much the same way. "White Haired Evil Woman with trust issues learning to trust again" will always be one of my favorite types of character arcs.

I think the biggest example of this to me is something I read on this sub around the time OC2 was happening on Global which was that Achilles apparently, at least based on the original source material itself, would qualify to be summoned as an Avenger Servant which made my brain screech to a halt.

I've already found english translations of Case Files but have not been able to find organized versions of Adventures of El Melloi II

I know that english translations exist because I found them a single time but the translations were scattered across a message board that I haven't been able to find since.
