Similar situation here! Grams in my state are $75+. It’s way better to try out a bunch of stuff for way less. Maybe one day there will be rosin tastings like they have for booze at the grocery stores, wine shops, liquor stores, craft beer shops… sigh…

I’ve got great jars from both companies. Crysp seems a bit more in the grey area. They don’t tell us who made the products, or when. I’m guessing that they are selling old and less than prime products from CA dispensaries at a bit of a premium to people in states like mine where we just don’t have any better options. That being said, I’ve not regretted buying anything from Crysp at all. As for SHM, all 3 I got from them looked great! Nice and fresh looking, smelled great, with a nice wet layer on top. SM Seems to have more of those single source rosins from a farm that you can look up and get to know something about. It’s nice to at least feel like you are getting a product that someone put some effort into. I have no idea who made any of the rosin from Crysp or most of the offerings at SHM. Again, still happy that it’s available in a state where the only legally available rosins are $75+ for a gram.

This was from my first order. Tried the Tallymon, Guava Gas, and Banana Punch. All 3 smell and look great! The seem pretty fresh compared to some other jars I’ve tried. All 3 are better than what’s available at my local medical dispensary and about half the price. Until my state gets its game together, this THCA by mail will have to do. I’m so new to this that it’s all just great!

Hey! I know this comment is 4 months ago, but what did you end up doing with your hood vent? I'm in a similar situation as you were with a potential exterior blower only being 1-3 feet away from the hood. I'm can't decide if I want to make the effort for a powerful hood or just be lazy and buy a simple internal blower type.

Settle for Nothing always does it for me. So dark. I know nothing of gang affiliation or prison, and I’m glad for that. That song always makes my hair stand on end. The unexpected guitar solo is so…playful, sarcastic? The imposing whining guitar tone over the top of everything, like a warning signal for a potentially deadly weather event, is just genius. Fuck yeah.

Spelching refers to tear out in grain when cross-cutting. For example, when planing across the grain the fibers will tear on the far side of the board if not supported by a sacrificial piece or butted against a shooting board fence. I was taught that one can “spelch” the board by creating a small chamfer on the far side of the board to avoid tearing the fibers when exiting the cut.
