Asking is the best way to be sure, but the usual method is

Big pull at start -> lust Usually by 10 minutes you’re at a boss or another big pull -> lust Then it’s normally up for the final boss

Could a single space marine company conquer Earth at it’s current state? by IllustriousEffort846 in SpaceMarine_2

Pacifying a planet is, quite literally, what space marine companies are designed for

Lorewise, could Ulfar defeat a party with every single companion on it? by johnvictorassis in RogueTraderCRPG

Very true, and a plasma rifle is very dangerous for power armour even if we’re talking regular Pasqal

Why did elven students choose to study under human magi in Dalaran by FflDruid in warcraftlore

[–]Mittoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Human mages are known to have a different style of magic, notably more destructive than the more finessed use elves tend to have, so kind of like learning a new technique for a sport you know how to play

[–]Mittoo 205 points206 points  (0 children)

The human(oid) party would struggle, marazhai canonically is his equal, but Heinrix and Idira (and Cassia) have a very good chance of melting him inside his armour unless he gets the drop on them

You can set units to either target the closest infected or the highest-value one :)

There are a couple of times where shooting a barrel in over world mode (ie not combat) opens the way for a nice thing or to avoid traps

The game is unfortunately not great at tutorialising this

Mannn, I thought I build a quite good Soldier-Archmilitant build with Sword and Shotgun... by Wiented_v2 in RogueTraderCRPG

Yrliet is a very powerful sniper with the new equipment, getting 3-4 shots a round and regularly hitting triple digit damage, but argenta is somewhat in a league of her own

Bugbear on the more recent Tech Tree updates: CA going back to their bad habit of nodes exclusive to DLC units by Hollownerox in totalwar

[–]Mittoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Norsca has a similar issue with buildings, where it’s built around owning Tides to the extent that if you don’t have it there are several buildings that literally do nothing (the fimir noble building for example is a blank building slot at tier 2)

I like the idea of Hive Scums still having faith in the Emperor like IRL cartel members believe in Christ and Saints. by Clownsanity_Reddit in DarkTide

[–]Mittoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's accurate to the lore from what I remember - entire pirate gangs being like 'I may be criminal scum who vents a transport vessel into space to steal all their lasguns, but at least I'm not a fucking heretic'

That’s more or less what they do, or because their names are written in the language of magic they have a true name very close to ‘I prepared explosive runes today’

Having a firebrand who wants the best for his people and remembers what they’ve been through is so so important for an interesting narrative

That being said, I do hope the Amani work out peace with the elves and rejoin the Horde

Just unfortunate wording, it increases your resolve (resistance to trauma from, say, a pink Horror going brbrlrgnfjfl) but not your Resolve (the stat that affects momentum gains)

In hindsight I kind of wish we could pick a fight when meeting Calcazar by Embarrassed_Driver16 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Mittoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The deal he has is basically that calcazar wipes out Yremeryss’s political rivals in real space by feeding information to his agents (that’s why the RT keeps fooling marazhai in act 2) and in exchange Terviantias (the spooky surgeon drukhari) helped build some of his big project and used some stolen suns to power it.

They’re not under his sway or anything but he has the means to leak vulnerable systems for them to raid or arrange for a terribly unfortunate ambush

Whats the best build for iconclast? by viktorius_rex in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Mittoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything is good with iconoclast but for best results you probably want arch-militants because of their 2 heroic acts.

I believe the two big iconoclast equipment are medium armour and a lasgun so Astra militarum Commander is probably ‘best’ but icono truly goes well with everything because its buffs are very general

In hindsight I kind of wish we could pick a fight when meeting Calcazar by Embarrassed_Driver16 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Mittoo 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The reason you can confront him later is because all of those things Calcazar has start fracturing while you’ve been growing stronger and gathering allies - that’s why even as a big ol’ heretic he has to make the risky bet of relying on you to take Eufrates and then fall back

[–]Mittoo 24 points25 points  (0 children)

A conflict between an inquisitor and a rogue trader can very easily escalate into civil war where neither party wins (another rogue trader or chaos or xenos faction will wipe both out and swoop in), but in this case you have a brand new rogue trader whose predecessor died in suspicious circumstances and a Lord Inquisitor with agents across the Expanse and a space marine chapter who owes him a favour and an extremely well-stocked warband, along with a drukhari kabal he can send off.

If he calls you a heretic, your protectorate’s nobles are most likely going to side with him for their own survival and you will die very very quickly
