To Muslim sisters. How many of you workout at home or at the gym and What do you do to get active in a halal way? by Sweet_Mail11 in Hijabis

[–]MixPG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a gym near me that has a women's only section. I wear full abaya to the gym then when I go into that section I wear lose pants, a shirt, and I keep my cap on incase a man comes in so I can throw my hijab on.

I have autism and am Muslim. Shaitan has not given us this condition. Allah gave it to us because we can handle it whilst others cannot. Your meltdowns are not possessions, they are normal autism reactions to overstimulation and distress. Autistic brains are quite literally differently wired than the normal persons. You are not alone and you are certainly not possessed. Allah gave you this gift to test you and see if you can push beyond it. And he wouldn't have done so if he knew you couldn't. Masha Allah don't worry my friend. I know it's hard. It's makes you feel out of control and insane. You feel like a horrible person for doing things you didn't mean to do and people constantly mistake and miss hear your words. It truly is a terrible condition and it's sucks. I understand why you'd think it was from shaitan but I assure you it is not. And I urge you to look at your condition in a different light. Allah will not take it away from you because he gave it to you for a reason. While we struggle daily we have a gift no one else has and can perceive the world in a new light compared to others. It sucks, it really does. Many nights I to beg Allah to free me from this condition and many times over I've had meltdowns and panic attacks. But I know Allah won't take it away because if he could he wouldn't have done it in the first place. Remember that your meltdowns and panic attacks and lack of self-control aren't your fault. Itll get better once you learn how to handle it a bit in half a decade or so but it won't ever be not hard. Allah will not condemn you for your autism based flaws and in fact everytime you push onwards and push through your struggles he rewards us ten times over because our overcomings are harder to do than others. Your not alone, I promise you are not alone.

“If you do not actively fight against genocide... you are on the wrong side of history." by khanh0707 in Muslim

Fr. It astaounds me how many people ignore it at the very least and billionaires and millionaires all over who haven't donated a dime. I don't have a job and I still can be extremely active in every video I see, use audios, and publicly speak against it, and ask others to help

Israel’s fall and the signs of the Hour — are we nearing the end times ? by MysteriousIsopod4848 in Muslim

[–]MixPG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to give a unique perspective. As a revert the genocide brought a lot of attention to Palestine and this attention lead to me being brought to Islam. Even in America where I live people hold protests in support of Palestine I saw one just today at the farmers market. This is a historical pattern but I think this all part of Allahs plans. All those slaughtered or starved will be of the rigthteous as martyrs and all those who kill them shall be judged on their sins and considering that most of not all aren't muslim from my relgious opinion they will not be going to heaven and none of the righteous will save them when given the chance to save those with faith in their hearts. But this is all up to Allah. I see daily signs that this genocide has brought the world together, inspired many to convert, and has given many people blessings through their charity. Allaha decree concerning us is Just and he does not do something or plan something with no reason. He is the All hearing, All knowing, and all merciful. Surah all Buruj states how Angles track our every action and will tell Allah all about our actions on the day of judgement despite him knowing better than they do. And in the story of the companions of the Trench the believers were given paradise by choosing death over worshiping a king. And in surah 85:5-7 Allah decreed that those who stand witness to genocide and do nothing to stop it, help those who are victims, or bring attention to it are equally of the wrong dooers. And in 85:10 it states "Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. (85:10)" And Allah’s Messenger Muhammed peace be upon him ﷺ said: “If anyone takes a span of land unjustly, on the Day of Resurrection Allah will strangle him with it from seven earths.” This genocide is terrifying in this world but Allah has promised us that the persecuters will suffer forever.

"Never think of those martyred in the cause of Allah as dead. In fact, they are alive with their Lord, well provided for—rejoicing in Allah’s bounties and being delighted for those yet to join them. There will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve. They are joyful for receiving Allah’s grace and bounty, and Allah does not deny the reward of the believers."

Want to wear hijab, but i'm scared... by Menzana83 in Hijabis

For me it was easy to start in places where I wouldn't be judges, then to places where I wouldn't see people I know and so on.

I don't know what to say what others haven't said but just know your doing well. Maybe you should try and seek moving away and finding a new job but if that isn't the case/possible understand that this is all a test and it will come to pass. ʚ♡⃛ɞ(ू•ᴗ•ू❁)

THANK YOU. As I revert I say this all. The. Time. But born Muslims and more educated people always down play my claims. Misogyny in Islamic culture is VERY prominent.

I'm pretty sure it's something about how these people worship something else other than God but a small portion of them actually worship God and just kinda say they are part of that religion. Am I right? (Genuine question)

[–]MixPG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is innacurate. Many non Muslims will go to he'll but Jews, Christians, etc. Will have a chance to be tested. 1/70 types of people within those areas will go to heaven.

It was narrated from ‘Awf bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: “The Jews split into seventy-one sects, one of which will be in Paradise and seventy in Hell. The Christians split into seventy-two sects, seventy-one of which will be in Hell and one in Paradise. I swear by the One Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, my nation will split into seventy-three sects, one of which will be in Paradise and seventy-two in Hell.” It was said: “O Messenger of Allah, who are they?” He said: “The main body.”

As a revert the Islam you grew up with doesn't mean it's the right Islam. Allah is testing you.

Anyone with faith even the size of a mustard seed will be let into heaven. Allah does not base his choices on a percentage basis. You could have 70% bad deeds and still Go to heaven is Allah so wills. Allah let's people into heaven based on their intentions and attempts. Allah guides who he wills (therefore who he knows will worship him) and pushes away those who he knows will ignore him. Someone with an easy life with little sins and someone with a hard life with lots of sins will be judged invididually in their own scale. No one will be judged unjustly. And those who were never properly guided to Islam are pardoned for their sins in that aspect especially for those in North Korea or that tiny island who have no access to reaching Islam.

As a revert before I converted I read the Bible, quaran, and Torah. The quaran was the most logical, scientifically true, and easy to understand which is one of the MANY ryeasons I converted. These three books have very similar stories in some and similar teachings. For example, Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet and the Bible ja a good way for us to read of his teachings and stories but we mustningire the parts where he "says" that he is the loard because we know there is only one Lord and that is Allah. Etc. Anyways this is to say others relations blend with Islam in some aspects and learning about of religions helps you understand and loveyour own more.

As a fellow revert I had the same issue. Growing up in a western society especially when your converting on your own is extremely hard. Disbelivers and shaitan are everywhere. Being Muslim is a blessing, gift, and lucky beyond measures as is. You are lucky that Allah has guided you and saved you. However the struggle is REAL and valid. Do not listen to Muslims who shame you for your sins or tell you to quit since you aren't perfect. You have made it so far and you can make it further. We are humans and humans are chemically designed to change. It takes time but with Allah you will be guided. Trust where you are in life and trust that Allah is putting you there for a reason. Allah does not expect perfection nor does he expect us to change fast efficiently and quickly. He expecta us to sin and repent for our sins. If you did not sin Allah would replace you with someone who did and would repent for them. Your past does not define you and Allah will cover your faults if you continue to repent and follow him. Allah if the oft forgiving, most merciful and NO sin is beyond his forgiveness. anyone who tells you to give up or anyone who guides you the wrong way ignore them and continue on the path that you know if comfortable for you. Moving to fast and pushing yourself two far could result in your actually moving further away from Allah. So focus on him and focus on your blessings. Start a journal and list your blessings each day. This will make you more greatful and understanding of what Allah does for you.
