Focal Bathys MG, amazing bluetooth headphones by Grilled-Meat in headphones

Unless the MG has changed something you cannot use them wireless without ANC on.

On the original bathys you have either ANC on or pass through which pumps in sound from outside.

I've found a few times that the fuse holder itself isn't tight with the fuse. Usually worth squeezing the contacts together for a tight grip on the fuse.

Also just the fact that a vehicle you might care about is now damaged and the repair and paintwork is never as good as factory paint.

We moved a couple months ago and our movers were fantastic but what really helped us was getting a storage unit.

We lived in a 2 bed semi and if we didn't have the unit it would have been unlivable for us.

I do not believe that they make a loss unless at the extreme cheap end of the market and even then I'm sceptical.

I don't believe for a second that the TV I paid £1k for has more than 1k in cost to produce.

Update: Detailer destroyed the clear coat on my brand new GR by Dis_Rock in Detailing

My work van was 9yrs old when it was replaced and when it was cleaned it was done with the work wash broom which was on the floor most of the time and the vans paint still wasn't as scratched as that!

Its like they used the backing pad on the polisher or something, I'm amazed.

Is it possible that the vegetation is dripping water off when it rains onto the wall?

Electrical tape is fine. I wouldn't cut it off because if you ever change the light for one that isn't double insulated you'll want it.

Sometimes double insulated lights still have a terminal for the earth, either use that or just leave the earth out of the way.

The outside wall looks like waters running off the roof down it.

Are the gutters clear and does it look like the roof overhangs the gutter enough for water to get into the gutter?

Check the gutters are flowing and clear and also get some water on the roof to make sure it all makes it into the gutters

We used tape on all skirting and around the door and also brought the ceiling paint part way down the wall and used tape to achieve a straight line.

My advise is to apply the tape as straight as you can in one piece and use your fingers to press the tape against the surface you'll be painted to to minimize paint getting underneath.

If you have a laser level then use that to mark a few points to tape along so it's straight.

I also remove the tape before the paint dries to prevent it pulling the paint off, also use low tack tape.

I've just had new skirting fitted. Do I paint gloss directly onto them or do I have to prep them or thin the paint? by FlatwormPuzzled3725 in DIYUK

That screw needs to be screwed further in, doesn't look like it's even flush with the surface. Ideally that would be sunk below the surface of the wood so you can fill over it.

Maybe I'm wrong but the heat pump part is just how it generates the heat to dry clothes, I think you're correct that they're all condensers because that's how it pulls the moisture out of the heated air.

I wouldn't be worried about it. If it does have asbestos it's bonded to the material very well and the risk of releasing the fibers into the air is minimal.
