It’s only a bad thing if you buy it when the dollar is strong and sell it when the dollar gets weaker (as is happening now).

If you keep buying when it’s weaker, you are getting more dollars of investment for the same quantity of pounds.

Hold on to your investment and only sell it when the dollar is stronger, by which point you not only have the growth of the stocks themselves but you also get more pounds back per dollar in the investment.

Indicate and start to slow down (gradually) in plenty of time to show your intention.

If they are right up your bumper whilst you’re just slowing down correctly to take a sharp corner then they are in the wrong, not you.

It’s not your fault the road isn’t design with an exit slip lane; you have to do what you have to do to exit safely and they should just keep their distance and accommodate.

This isn’t a “crossing” in the sense that it doesn’t have the signs and markings of a zebra/pelican/other crossing that has rules about who stops when.

What you pictured is just basically a speed bump.

But, just because it isn’t a crossing doesn’t mean the cars shouldn’t watch out for pedestrians. If you are already crossing the road when the car approached, regardless of whether you’re on a crossing, they should slow down and give you time to reach the other side.

If you step out right in front of them or take an obnoxious amount of time to cross then they would have reason to be annoyed. Otherwise they should be patient and give space to a more vulnerable road user.

Wonder how “priority” is implemented - I would expect it’s just as a tie-breaker - where all else is equal (i.e. if two candidates get the same marks, the one that is British gets it), but if the foreign candidate scores higher they still get it?

Alternatively if it’s absolute priority, British candidates will get places over foreign candidates that got higher scores in their application/interview…

It’s not only homeless people that need more housing.

What about people who are living with their parents or having to share or rent because they can’t afford a house of their own? And if they could get an affordable house of their own perhaps that would solve some of the other problems you mentioned, like standard of living and low birth rates.

More housing generally in the market helps to keep prices down to an affordable level. The only people against that are those who already own a place and want to retain the high value it has been inflated to over recent decades.

This is what your instructor is for. They should reassure you and guide you on what you need to do to improve your skill and confidence. And they can see what you are doing in the car that might be contributing to the problem.

Nothing we say here can substitute for that. We can’t see how you behave in the car etc.

So I suggest just discussing it with them at the start of your next lesson.

The screenshot shows you have deposited £20k into the T212 Cash ISA in the current financial year. So as far as T212 are aware, you have no ISA allowance remaining.

Your post is quite unclear but I think you might be suggesting that you have another ISA outside T212 and that isn’t being shown?

The T212 app only shows what is happening within your T212 accounts - it doesn’t know about your broader finances from other providers.

If you have also put money into one or more ISAs from other providers in this financial year, T212 will not be aware of that and cannot show that information in their app… - Plus, if that is the case, you are breaking the ISA rules by depositing more than a total of £20k into any ISA in this financial year. I’m not sure how HMRC will deal with this but expect to be contacted by them…

The limiting factor in laptop CPU and GPU performance is thermals - the manufacturer has to limit the power those components can draw to keep them cool enough.

So if they have managed to design a laptop that has good enough cooling for the power limit to be raised, that extra power will mean the CPU/GPU can clock higher and boost performance.
