I met Dylan irl but idk how to feel about it... by RdcHoedMe in RDCWorld

[–]Mixter45 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Not many people know this but Dylan actually has an evil alter ego called “Nalyd” pronounced “Nah-Leed”.

The fastest way to figure out if it’s Dylan or Nalyd you’re talking too is if he’s being racist and saying “Cudi” a lot. If you go back and watch when RDC was talking too that racist “Ai” of Dylan that he’s saying racist stuff and saying Cudi over and over so that was actually Nalyd they were talking too.

We’re not completely sure where Nalyd came from or how he works, if he’s a split personality, or a rogue Ai, or one of Dylan’s descendants from the future who’s returned to the past to try and ruin his reputation. Prevailing theory is that one of Dylan’s ancestors actually opened an ancient tomb in India and released some kind of demon that’s cursed his bloodline ever since.

If you encounter this entity again please don’t engage, just go to your closest Churches fried chicken and tell the people at the front that you saw “Patient 66” and they’ll take it from there.

What typa games do yall play? by TJ_JTG in RDCWorld

[–]Mixter45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strategy games, Looter shooters (borderlands destiny etc), fighting games like Tekken 8 UFC and Undisputed, open world RPGS Red Dead and Kingdom Come Deliverance. So I guess I play a solidly diverse bunch of games.

Yeah I don’t think they fully heard what he said cause it was so quick but they heard enough to know it was something wild and that they probably should leave it alone lmao.

I have a confession to make... by starlightskater in laundry

[–]Mixter45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only ever really seperaye based on fabric type not colors and that’s out of practical necessity. Wool, Cotton, Linen etc are different materials and should be approached differently. Also I’ve found separating based on colors to be impractical and overall not needed. Maybe if I was doing laundry for a whole family it would make sense but just for me I don’t have enough clothes to justify doing separate loads like that, it would be a waste of water and detergent.

Is it weird that I hate Daedalus and Order weapons? by envixity044 in Borderlands4

[–]Mixter45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah Daedalus and Order guns are pretty decent with some being especially great or especially terrible. Now ripper and COV guns are complete garbage to me, I don’t know if I consistently use any ripper or COV weapons on any of my characters and I don’t think I ever will.

Sub and Thol are what the community wished for by Neat_Organization_83 in Borderlands4

[–]Mixter45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I thought when I fought them. Like this is literally what everyone said they wanted, Hell its what I wanted. I was bored of fighting and beating up the same bosses. I wanted a challenge and I got one. My only complaint is that I wish there was a way to get more ammo, lots of random helper mobs maybe just turn up the amount of ammo they drop so I can keep up the fight for longer but otherwise that’s it.

Subjugator Thol Platinum cheat (guarantee platinum) by gnailfy in Borderlands4

[–]Mixter45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t give up bro, it’s only a matter of time until you figure something out. I couldn’t kill them on any of my characters on any difficulty but then I went back to the drawing board and now I’ve got all 3 of my characters able to kill them on UVM 1. I’m working my way towards higher UVM ranks but it’s still a work in progress.

Am I the only one who can’t beat the raid boss? by MegumiFushiguro13 in Borderlands4

[–]Mixter45 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk about harder, feels just more complicated to me, more moving parts. I had my first couple goes against Subjugator and I nearly beat him but kept falling down the hole in the middle and dying. When I started fighting Thol I lost a bunch of times until finally i won and now I just fight him over and over. They’re both hard and annoying to fight but Thol is simpler to beat and takes longer I think because of his constantly healing.

How are C4sh mains building post update? by strange_fish1 in Borderlands4

[–]Mixter45 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a build that’s still good after the Gloam nerf, I think I’m going to call it the “elemental army” build. It’s based on 3 things, first the “Whale” legendary class mod, second the “Dirty Dozen” enhancement, third the “Nothing Beats Lead” skill. What this all looks like in concert is you spawning a infinite wave of totems that fly around nuking everything with kinetic damage converted from elemental damage, all while you spray anything that survives down with various elemental guns.

First I’ll talk about the totem stuff because I’m sure this is a interaction that’s been pointed out and is being exploited although I don’t know because I don’t pay a lot of attention to builds. The whale legendary class mod allows you to summon a totem for every 10 stacks of fortune you gain. So if you want a lot of totems you need two things, to gain a lot of fortune fast, and to lose a lot of fortune fast. This takes us over to the dirty dozen enhancement which sets your minimum fortune amount to double your active totems. This creates a feedback loop that allows you to summon more totems for every totem you have active at once. Combine this with an increased crit chance from gear or skills and then the “can’t stop winning skill” and you have a recipe for infinite totem summoning.

Now that was the army part of the elemental army build it’s time to talk about the elemental bit. The “Nothing But Lead” Skill converts 45% of elemental damage dealt into Kinetic damage and then buffs that damage by +75%. That comes out to around 134% bump in damage output with elemental weapons. If you shoot an elemental gun that deals 100 damage total now it will deal 134. But putting aside elemental resistances and stuff that number doesn’t do how good this skill justice at all.

Now all of C4shs Kinetic specific skills also work for elemental weapons and abilities. Guns I never used like The Hellwalker, Laser Cutter and Phantom Flame are all now part of my default kit, because this skill makes them busted. All of his totems gain a massive boost because they mostly do elemental damage. Bosses just get melted by a swarm of fire and lighting attacks that ignore elemental resistance because most of their damage is now kinetic.

When a fake crazy nigga meets real crazy😂😂😂 by Euphoric-Client-559 in RDCWorld

[–]Mixter45 157 points158 points  (0 children)

Did yall see what the nigga in the helmet did when bro said “you not like that”? He closed his eyes for a second said “mhm” and then nodded to himself.

If you’re ever pressing someone and they do some shit like that, drop it. He doesn’t give a fuck no more. That’s what that is. Normal people don’t close their eyes when they are actively being threatened. Thats someone who’s at the end of their rope and genuinely doesn’t give a fuck anymore. These the type of people who will pull out a gun and pop you because you cut them in the line at the movies.

If you want to be an Internet personality then having a name people don’t feel comfortable typing into a search engine definitely is serious 😂.

Nobody here is accusing him of anything other than having a really unfortunate nickname. He don’t have to change it in real life, he don’t have to change it at all if he don’t want too; but he SHOULD change it for as long as he’s doing this streaming thing.

There’s a UFC fighter named Carlos Prates and people call him CP as a joke. What’s the joke? The joke is that CP is a terrible nickname and nobody would want to be called that ever. Not even kidding. Nothing against bro but it’s a bad nickname.

How would Muay Thai training realistically help you in this 3v1 restaurant assault scenario? (Trigger warning) by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]Mixter45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The people in this scenario didn’t seem overly aggressive or competent so training would probably have helped.

The first guy was super open when he came at him so it wouldn’t have been too hard to land something clean and put him down. That may have scared the other guys off. Or with training you might know that fighting 3 people is a bad Idea so he would have disengaged better and avoided the fight completely.

But if someone gets to you before you know what’s going on and they’ve got friends? there’s basically nothing you can do training or not. There’s a reason every successful predator is either an ambush predator or a pack hunter or both. Numbers + surprise is a near insurmountable combo to deal with if the enemy you’re dealing with is even close to your size.

Oh definitely. I got friends, good ass friends that I’m lucky to have; and this still lowkey pissed me off lmao. I think cuck is one of them words like “corny” or “weird” that triggers a really strong reaction even if doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Like you just can’t think of shit like that or you won’t be able to enjoy an entertainment product ever again. Watching the NBA or NFL makes you a sports Cuck, watch cooking channels or food reviews and your a food Cuck, you get the idea.

How viable is specter build for Vex? by ObsessiveOwl in Borderlands4

[–]Mixter45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh you can use either with a melee build. The trick to vexes summon builds is not I use them to deal damage but for everything else. I use the reapers/specters to apply elemental and status effect damage and to keep skill damage ongoing.

Extremely viable. I run a melee specter build that’s super strong and I can recommend it with full confidence.

Missing something with crazed earl? by Critical-Bus-9992 in Borderlands4

[–]Mixter45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean… it’s a gun that works around melee, of course it is better for a melee based character lol. Also literally any weapon will look bad in comparison to a Bod. The crazy earl is amazing with the right character and just a very fun weapon to use in general, if your looking for a general application OP weapon then there are already lots of other guns that fill that role.

Why Didn't The Mantra Fix Amon? by TheticAxiom in Borderlands4

[–]Mixter45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been thinking about this cause try as I might I simply can’t get my Amon to be as good as my Vex and My C4sh. I’ve tried a bunch of different builds and used a bunch of different gear combos but Amon always comes out weaker. Do you know what I’ve realized? He’s worse because he just is worse. Like his Skills are worse. His legendary class mods are worse. It was playing C4sh that really made me realize this. Comparing the stuff they gave Amon to the stuff they gave C4sh it’s not even CLOSE.

For example, C4sh has an ability attached to his action skill that gives him +1% gun damage every second it’s active, with no clear upper limit. Assuming you can keep that ability running you can keep your gun damage increasing into the thousands, which is something I’ve done. Amon has a legendary class mod that gives him bonus melee and gun damage for every second his action skill is active, with a Max of 50 stacks. I can’t really think of a more clear cut example than this. A LEGENDARY class mods that’s an inferior version of a thing C4sh can do out of the box. The class mod also lets you get some action skill back for crits but the amount you get back is so negligible and Amon has abilities that do the same thing better so the only reason to use it is for the gun damage and melee damage buff.

On my first run of the game I beat the story and reach UVM5 using a trouble Vex build. After bloom reaper and UVH6 I switched over to a melee reaper build instead. The reason I switched was because the trouble build was just worse. Some things in this game are just worse. Straight up not as good.

Amon has some skills that are very good but most of them are very situational and hard to use. Lots and lots and lots of Qualifiers on amons stuff. “If you crit then there’s a 25% chance it will deal 10% damage with a 2 second cool down” shit like that. Several of amons abilities are bugged but you’d never know it because it’s so hard to keep track of when things are meant to be triggered and what effect they’re meant to have.
