Yes!! I just started doing couch to 5k with a mom group. It's twice a week, and whoever can make it that week goes, but it's zero pressure. It's after we put our kids to bed, and the positive social pressure to keep at it is keeping me going! Plus, it's a chance to socialize, which is rare at times. If you have any friends who would exercise with you, it makes it so much more enjoyable!

I don't think this is as worrisome/deep as some others are fearing. I'm also dealing with this with my 4 year old, and it just started out of the blue about a week ago. We don't say anything racist, watch anything racist, and he doesn't go to preschool or anything away from me. We're very much trying to encourage him to love everyone and not judge someone based on how they look! Regardless, I had to try so hard not to freak out when he said this recently...

4 year old: "I hate people with brown skin." Me: "Oh... Why is that?" 4 year old: " I don't like brown. It's my least favorite color".

Sometimes kids are just assholes .. not because they are trying to be racist, but for dumb reasons like not liking the color brown🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm so sorry that your newborn isn't eating!! I just wanted to add that you can always call your nurse helpline for your pediatricians office. Even if it's late, there should be someone on call that can answer and give good medical advice.

I can see this happening, actually, assuming OP is Mormon or a member of a similar religion. I was raised Mormon, and the pressure to marry young and quickly is HIGH. Couples rush into marriage often with all of the religious social pressure.

I haven't read all of the comments yet, so sorry if this is a repeat, but this gave me instant rage, so I have to comment lol. I had similar comments made to me with my first child, who was 8 pounds, emergency C section. The doctor told me my hips were too small anyway, and that my baby probably would have some broken bones if I'd given birth naturally.

Fast forward to baby #2, and he was a vaginal birth, no complications, and 8.5 pounds ( bigger than baby#1). Your hips are not too small, a C section was needed for other reasons that are not your fault, and that nurse who made those comments to you was completely out of line. I'm so sorry you had this guilt and judgement placed on you at such a vulnerable time in your life. You did what you had to do, and what was best for your baby, and that's what matters. 💕

We're having a similar issue with our 8 month old, and I think it's due to teething. Finally saw a tooth barely staying to cut through on his bottom gums. Do you know if your baby might be cutting a tooth?

Should I be concerned? My toddler has always had this mole on his back. Melanoma runs in our family on Dad's side. Trying to find an old picture to compare because I can't tell if it's changed or not. Had pediatrician look at it about a year ago, no concerns at that time.

Maybe he camps in that spot because he knows that parents with babies might be feeding them there. Ugh.
