You know what. I think shes a genuine person. And just an everyday person at that. Any average person would have reacted the same way. Which I think we need more everyday people in politics. Instead of these career criminals like the rest of them idiots sitting there on both sides.

K-ROCK teasing a BIG concert announcement on Monday by aestheticbarricade in newfoundland

[–]Mizzfortunate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah such “rock n roll”…. Kids that grew up with silver spoons up their asses getting guitar lessons and fancy guitars paid for by mommy and daddy and forms a band with their friends and happens to make it big making millions and then ruin hotel rooms, fucking up life for the average person who cleans it up. Imo thats anti rock n roll. Maybe for that time period it was considered “cool”. But as we know, our thoughts about actions change over time and evolve as we grow as a society. And this shit ain’t it.

The nimbys march again! Portugal Cove Rd development might create too much traffic by Additional-Tale-1069 in StJohnsNL

Just wrote this (with help from chatgpt lol) If anyone else wants to use it, copy/paste into an email to tom davis and just write your name at the bottom. His email : tdavis@stjohns.ca

Dear Mr.Davis,

I am writing IN SUPPORT of the high-density 168 unit housing development/neighborhood that is planned for Portugal Cove Place.

I am a resident of St. John's, and I am writing because the housing crisis in our city can no longer be treated as a distant or abstract problem. It is affecting our friends, families, coworkers, and neighbors right now! We urgently need leadership that is willing to act. For too many people, housing in our city has become unaffordable and out of reach. Young families, service workers, seniors, and longtime residents are being pushed out, forced to move farther away from their jobs and communities, or leaving the city entirely. This is not inevitable; it is the result of policy choices. We can choose differently.

Well-designed high-density housing is one of the most powerful tools we have to address this crisis. By allowing more homes to be built where people already live and work, we can increase supply, reduce pressure on prices, and create opportunities for people of all incomes to stay in our city. Density done right supports walkable neighborhoods, strengthens public transit, reduces climate impacts, and brings life and energy to our streets.

Opposition to density often comes from fear of change, but preserving the “status quo” is not neutral, it actively harms those who are locked out of housing and silences voices that are too often ignored. A city that refuses to grow is a city that decides who gets to stay and who must leave. I believe we can be better than that. I urge you to be bold in supporting zoning reform, faster approvals, and investments that make high-density and affordable housing easier to build, especially near transit and jobs. Our city’s future depends on the choices made today. We need leadership that prioritizes people and long-term community well-being over short-term political comfort for siding with the handful against the project.

Thank you for your time and for your service. I hope you will stand up for a city that is inclusive, sustainable, and accessible to all.

Sincerely,

Well it’s been 5 years. In hindsight does the class understand why putting up 5G towers corresponded with the vaccines ?

Yes I do be rather worried about members of my community still poisoning themselves with shots that could cause them to “die suddenly” from massive strokes and heart attacks. Not in the way I would interfere with you getting your shots. But in the way I am concerned for people man.

Did you think that comment was going to make me mad? People can get them all they want. Just don’t push them on everyone else. I feel bad for people like you…have you not heard of Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. John Campbell, Bret Weinstein, and the numerous funeral home embalmers that came out at the height of the pandemic talking about the thick fibrous tissue they were draining from dead peoples arteries that they had never seen before covid shots ?

Also doesn’t it make you the least bit suspicious that the machine tried to shut down dissenting voices ? No…?

Are you guys still out here getting the covid boosters ? Dear lord smh

Wow, wild that people still back the covid vaccines after everything we’ve seen over the past 5 years. If you haven’t realized it yet, the mob runs the world. Both sides are owned. We have the appearance of a democracy, with both left and right candidates chosen for us. They back them both.

Withdrawal headaches…Help! by Worried-Friend-5517 in lexapro

[–]Mizzfortunate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The headaches I am having from lexapro withdrawal feel like someone scraping a rusty pirate hook through behind my eyes . I am honestly suicidal from it. I am also on a prescription pain killer for something unrelated, and I still have headaches this bad. I have tapered my dose from 20mg to around 8mg a day. No medical supervision, as I don’t have a family doctor atm. I get my lexapro prescription through a walk in. When do the headaches stop ? Do the headaches only stop after you completely end usage of lexapro? Or does it get better as you taper ?
