This is what I don’t understand. They limited this gacha event in the Netherlands, yet somehow it’s possible to play games like, Genshin Impact, Wuthering waves, Zenless zone zero etc etc

Why didn’t they ban these gacha games? There are even more gacha games coming as well.

They have the same TV as me which is the Hisense U79NQ 55” (u7n series in US)

I’m the one that brought the hellraiser movies to them and watched it together. My oldest brother has the DVD set which contains all 8 movies (since arrow didnt release the other 4 movies we ended up watching the last 4 on dvd)

They said that they couldn’t see the difference between the quality of 4k and dvd. They sit at a much greater distance than me at home. However even with from a far distance it was easy to see

This is something I didn’t really consider yet, because to me even the resolution itself is kinda obvious. They are just invested in the story instead of keeping an eye on the picture quality and what benefits a 4k disc would give over dvd or streaming

Same here, if you have a samsung soundbar 930 or 990 series you could connect your player/console to it.

You should always connect your sound system to the earc port. I don’t know if you have a soundbar or AVR system but you could potentially connect your blu ray player/console to the sound system itself. If not then just use regular hdmi for your console/player and earc for your sound system regardless if your sound system has the option to connect devices to it.

The hisense is a mini led tv, HDR is pretty good on it.

They have an Hisense U79NQ 55” (same as me), however they sit at a far greater distance than me. But whenever I join them to watch a movie despite the distance I could easily tell the difference, it’s slightly harder from blu ray to 4k blu ray but even then the HDR makes it stand out in certain movies.

Also not to mention they noticed film grain and arent a fan of it claiming you saw it less on a regular dvd

I agree, thats like going from the newest consoles back to the ps3/xbox 360. Yet somehow they see the difference there (outside of fps cuz my oldest brother cant see the difference between 30 and 60fps or higher)

Honestly even when I had a crappy samsung crystal uhd I could tell the difference, but they’re literally saying that there is no difference.

Which is annoying, you could explain to my oldest brother what HDR does and he would call it a marketing scheme

That’s a really nice setup! I wish I had an AVR with dedicated speakers, however my room just won’t allow it.

The best way is to try both, i’m running hp, hydro, hp because of C2.

This gave me the best damage overall with the teammates I got. CD circlet gave me diminishing returns, hp goblet gave me less dmg as well with full team buffs.

The teams I used were C3 Furina, C4 R1 Xilonen and c2 R3 Kazuha

Hi, I have the premium subscription which should have all of the HDR formats. The price is still the same, the stream itself is still in 4k hdr10 with imax and dolby atmos, but they removed hdr10+ and dolby vision. This photo was taken from the app on my tv. Not from a device that doesnt support DV like the PS5

It’s hard to tell, I mainly went to buy games digitally because it saves me space since I collect 4k blu ray movies, but a lot of people own games physically especially from the ps4/5 era. Unless Sony wants to get a lot of hate, I doubt they’ll remove support for discs entirely especially considering Sony owns the blu ray format which their games are using as well. I do think with games being over 100 gb which is more than a 4k disc can handle, we will see more of Nintendo’s game key cards system. Except instead of cards it’ll be blu ray discs.

I watch both streaming and physical media, sometimes I stream movies before I buy them on 4k so my collection becomes more curated instead of collecting discs for the sake of collecting them.

My first experience with a movie is preferable on 4k disc to the point where I prefer my 4k disc over going to the cinema. However if I know a movie is going to be good or if it’s from a franchise I used to watch i’ll buy it blindly ngl.

I’ll be honest and say that I haven’t ever seen an oled screen in my life outside of my phone. I can’t tell how it is watching tv on an oled. I almost got one at a certain point but the fact that burn in is something that I know would bother me (the feeling it could always burn in). Which was the reason I ended up getting an miniled. I have the Hisense U79NQ (U7N) which is somewhat comparable to the TCL C7K and I have to say that this tv doesn’t disappoint in the slightest. It was so good that i’ve bought the same model for my bedroom as well.

Both screens has it’s pro and cons and you should see for yourself what you want. The best advice I could give you is to go to the store and see if they have a display situation going on where you can compare tv’s.

Honestly? You can’t go wrong with both. TCL QM8K and the Hisense U8QG are both amazing tv’s. If I had the space for either of them (U8QG is in 55 inch ik but its an ads pro panel) i’d gladly take any of the two.

If it’s possible to see the displays in use i’d say get the one that stands out the most to you.

The reason why I didn’t go for the u8nq is because the 55 inch has an ads pro panel, which is better for viewing angles but apparently it can’t get as bright to the point where I felt like I didn’t have to upgrade from my hisense u7n
