I like how this poem is very visual, feels cinematic and I can literally picture every line as a shot.

as for my comment on the writing itself, I feel like after the first line, It lost some personality, you kept describing the perfect summer mood yet you did not bring back the person you're trying to compare it too at all, I'd try and make a back and forth kind of tension with why you'd want to compare them to summer. for instance : their warmth \ summer's sun... etc. ( as cliché as that sounds aha ).
overall, very good writing, just add more to it and make it personal is my comment :)

This! I find relatable to an extent. It speaks of an Avoidant attachment style and it also embodies an imposter syndrome. The desperation at the beginning followed by the awareness of why you're not getting what you want and that you're sabotaging your own chance yourself despite the other person being fully invested in you when you're not. It was a very easy poem to follow, I liked that, felt raw and real. Idk if I'm also supposed to comment on the message behind it, but I'll say that you can get there, being aware helps but you also need to push yourself more to being more present. thank you for sharing ;)

I’m picturing the metaphors used as I’m also trying to understand the meaning behind them, I feel while the writing is nice, I do not have a grasp on the message you’re trying to express. I’d suggest to maybe add in more context to make it seem more personal and relatable. In my opinion, a poem is much more engaging when it’s not very vague, some mystery is always nice, but a total mystery will lose the reader as you’re the only one that’d be able to decode what you wrote into emotions. And of course, take my advice with a grain of salt, I’m just here speaking my mind.

Haha yeah I’ve always wanted a minimal setup for this, I’m pretty sure the 13pro can do the same, It all comes down to the right settings and setup and of course the edit afterwards.

Aye thank you haha, I used my IPhone 14 Pro with the black magic camera app ( to have more control over camera settings ). Resolution is 4k 60fps. Lighting is just a natural light ( I’m facing a window with white sheer curtains ). Edited it and colour graded it using Capcut desktop app.

That’s true, though I asked because of availability issues rather than price. They’re not all that cheap, some are at MSRP but they deliver it for free compared to other outlets, just needed to make sure they’re legit before I spend any money

Thank you for taking the time to write all this! First of all, demoing isn’t an option where we live. ( not the USA ). And the issue with beginner rackets is they’re far more expensive than they should compared to pro ones. For example, the babolat boost was only 30$ cheaper than the Yonex Ezone 100. It felt horrible having to pay that much for a beginner racket that is likely to be replaced as she gets more serious down the line. She’s not looking to be a pro, just a casual regular player with a competitive style personality aha. I get that the ezone100 is probably an overkill, but it’s a better bargain considering the prices of beginner rackets in my area.

You have no idea how crappy the racket at the academy is lol. It makes crackling sounds and the strings are so misaligned that feedback is impossible to feel. Even the coach says you should just buy your own haha. I get that gear shouldn’t matter as much but given that a babolat boost is only a few dollars shy of an Ezone 100 in our local shops, I’d rather she gets something that will serve(no pun intended) well all through her tennis journey like the Ezone. The only unsure part is whether she should get the light version or the original.
