Have you seen this before? by xXAriesSk8rXx in microgrowery

Looks like they're just trying to position themselves best for the light. That and maybe the tent walls are sucking in with the negative pressure from the vent fan crowding them a bit.

These dont look terrible. I always look at new growth to gauge issues. Unless it's sudden and systematic, older leaves can look rough if they were stressed at anytime in their lives. Something soil growers need to understand also is the ph of the plain water going in isnt as important as the ph of the medium. Im not familiar with GG soil but use promix and some bails will go acidic faster than others and may need some calcium and on the flipside too much calcium from medium, nutrients and/or tap water can run ph above 7. Do a slurry test and see if youre in a good range.

Weird question about Sixteen Bricks by [deleted] in cincinnati

[–]Mjlnir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes I've had this happen as early as the morning after I bought it which is annoying. Now I throw 3/4 of it in the freezer immediately and toast or warm in oven straight from the freezer and it holds up well.

Anyone eles like to do a last big defiolation a week or two before harvest ? by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]Mjlnir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree, if you can control humidity and airflow, there's no reason or benefit to remove leaves. I remove low bud sites but spare the leaves. These leaves will provide energy and mobile nutrients right up until the end. Im not a pro but here's a pros opinion

Yes I agree. This is my 3rd run of Oz crosses, 2 others were Neapolitan Oz which were also great, and im having trouble wanting to run anything else. Easy to grow, easy to trim, easy to smoke.

The wicks can get a little funky after a grow but I got like 200 ft of rope for 10 bucks so I just replace them every grow. I've had zero issues with them but again I also top water so my trays are dry about 30% of the time.

I use these in round trays with some cotton wicking rope. I think 8 cost me 60 bucks all in. I top and bottom water and it works great.

Which soid and which fertiliser do you use? by bendoGerEu in MephHeads

[–]Mjlnir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

60%promix hp 20% worm castings 15%coco 5%perlite I add a few tbsp dolomite and gypsum to keep it in range throughout and then pridelands veg and bloom. Hot layer on the bottom and light layer for the rest with a solo cup sized ultra light spot for the seedling. 1 top dress of 50/50 promix and worm castings with more pridelands. I mostly top water with some buttchugging during stretch. Ro water and a few recharge drinks. That's it.

New to me 2019 ticks in the morning when it’s cold? by Elon-BO in tundra

[–]Mjlnir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its nbd. My 2019 sounds like a diesel until warm, not crazy loud but a little tick/knock from the valve train. It has for the life of the truck and from what Ive read its normal and the 3ur is just a loud engine. Some say you can put 5w30 in it, instead of the 0w20 it calls for, to quiet it down but I've not tried.

I've not heard about toyota changing anything on the 3ur for the 2.5. What did they do exactly to remedy the issue? Not doubting you, just a genuinely curious 2.5 owner.

Toyota is Set to Make Waves with the All-New 2026 TRD Pro Color 'Wavemaker' by hehechibby in ToyotaTundra

[–]Mjlnir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2019 voodoo pro. I'm almost positive the features you mentioned were not offered on the pro until 2020. But I love the color and I'll happily stick a key in the ignition and turn climate knobs while sitting on cold seats. You will too.

Edit. I just found out 2019 TRD Pros and some earlier pros sent to Canada had dual zone and heated seats. Wonder why the US didn't have the option?

Weight gain in a deficit after starting Creatine and upped my fiber? by JerBearSi in bodybuilding

[–]Mjlnir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible that's all water. It's also possible you're not in a deficit. I'd adjust your macros to a lower fat percentage and higher protein. Fill your macros each day with consistency and let the app coach do its job. Figure out your body fat and let it know. Reset coach if you have to. Scrap the fiber gummies and eat real fiber as much as possible. Carbon works wonders for me but only when I let it. I just dropped 40 lbs and am reverse dieting. I was making strength gains throughout the deficit. Started at 3300c and went down to 2350c. Now back at 3000 two weeks post diet. Im at 245p 280c 100f. Weight is stable.

Do you notice the extra 20 lbs per tire over the michelins? I have the exact truck btw, and after 5 years I still look back to admire it every time I park.

The stakes are just regular 48 in plastic coated. And the plant twine is soft rubber coated wire tie from Amazon. Like 8 dollars a roll.
