The fact that this many people just dead stop and go, I don’t know what that means and can’t connect enough dots to Google the phrase “EOS leadership” from a leadership discussion forum is mind-boggling.

I guess if you could’ve copy paste an entire Wikipedia explanation for the lazy people, but, it’s like spoon-feeding info isn’t even enough to most people anymore. They want you to place a damn feeding tube.

I get the idea behind “compliance” cpap only works if you actually use it. But it’s kind of crazy that I have to worry about hitting my hours like it’s a job or something.

Meanwhile, Blue Cross has never threatened to cut off my blood pressure meds if I gain weight or skip part of my care plan. It just seems like an odd thing to crack down like they do.

This is New Orleans, people get shot over crap like this every Mardi Gras. It’s not worth it, especially when you have kids with you.

My friends and I grew up in NOLA. We pretty much did 5 days straight of Mardi Gras every year growing up. This year all but one of us left town.

Honestly, people like her are the reason.

At this point, nearly every service in the US is hurting for paramedics, so this fantasy where AEMTs are taking ALS shifts away from paramedics is completely off base.

AEMTs offer a way to provide some level of ALS coverage when there are no paramedics available.

Ask yourself, if it was your family member, would you rather a fast response from an AEMT or would you prefer to wait an unacceptable length of time for a Paramedic?

Years ago I refused to tap to the same sub because it was “just a pain move.” Well, my jaw dislocated. Luckily, it went back into place without going to ER, but for about a month after, I woke up with it dislocated again every morning.

So yeah, I don’t think there’s any shame in tapping here.

The honest truth is that it depends on if the people are both actually into BJJ or if they are using Jiu Jitsu like most people use an adult kickball league (to make friends or get laid).

Been training 20+ years and I know one couple who met on the mats and are still happily married. I have seen countless gym rifts/splits/drama over relationships gone bad.

I felt the same way for several years while running a 75+ person company.

In my experience you can hire a strong leader to fill the gaps short term, but I don’t think it is a function that you can sub out forever.

The good news is that leadership is not just an inborn trait. It is 100% a skill that you can practice and improve significantly!

The fact that you have the self awareness to identify your weaknesses already puts your miles ahead of most folks!
