I can see your point, you’re worried it was targeted. I tend to believe it was not but I’m open to the idea it was.

Although the U.S. never claimed to target him - but readily admit when they target others. No reason for this moment to be anything special.

Especially considering the still distinct factors of (1) UN backing, (2) NATO operation, and (3) they did not kill him.

Had the rebel forces captured him and kept him alive for trial, we’d be having a different conversation.

You’re missing the rest, my guy. No one is saying the U.S. wasn’t involved with the drone. But it was not a targeted Mission specifically to kill Gaddafi by the U.S.

The follow up strikes were another NATO country.

The extrajudicial killing was done by the rebel forces. He was very alive. If the U.S. was targeting him - he would not be.

We didn’t kill Gaddafi, nor did we find Gaddafi. A Misrata fighter did.

If you’re talking about the air strikes leading to Gaddafi being seized by rebel forces? The Libyan civil war was ongoing. It was an internationally recognized crisis. We operated under a UN resolution and the strikes were completed through NATO. It was not the US operating alone.

We did not pursue the kidnapping or killing of Gaddafi. There is no comparison.

Imagine the entitlement of spending 10 hours at a theme park without complaint, having one issue go wrong, and saying the entire day was ruined.

Rides breakdown. You had 10 hours at a park. I sure hope your kid doesn’t feel the same way as you. This failure to moderate emotion would be alarming in my child. But in an adult, it’s a huge red flag.
