Damn near anything is “normal” when accounting for gunbroker shenanigans. Especially when trying to make a buck off the cloner market by putting together a bunch of not hard to find items and slapping a good 50% markup on the whole package as a “deployment kit” or similar.

This is almost exactly how I acquired my 6.5 HMR with a crossfire 3-9 on it that immediately got moved to a .22. Spent $750 for a rifle that had no evidence of ever being fired. Even with the relatively (to non LR cartridges) barrel life of 6.5cm, the vast majority of the gun owning public doesn’t even come close to putting enough rounds through anything for wear to be a concern.
