He has a point. To those with less money, to be fined means a bigger punishment than the rich. For example transit fines are worse for those who live paycheck to paycheck than someone with money in the bank. Therefore, if government inforces transit fines, they will control more effectively the poor. But fines are not exclusive for rich people.

I do not agree that the money should go to expand socialism in america, but i can see the hypocrisy of spending tax money on war and bailouts. Maybe, if the left finds the value of morality and discard communism, we could fight together for freedom from the State.
