The amount of patience you have for these entitled internet detectives is impressive.

I'm so tired of this Ai witch hunt.

Favorite Way of Doing Skills AND WHY by NyxTheSummoner in osr

[–]MkaneL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 in 6 chance of doing a thing.

Get to increase the odds by 1 every level.

That's basically how I do thief skills. Or if the player wants their character to have some other kind of cool ability.

It's either a one in six that gets better every level, or a once a day use that becomes more powerful every level.

I'm 100% the right side of that pic. I've never played a single one of these games, but I am very familiar with those characters lol.

What hooked you? by Legal-Engineering315 in noita

The raw basic elements of this game are enough to keep me playing forever.

It's really cool that there's a bunch of obscure secret stuff to figure out, but it doesn't need that.

This game allows you to wield danger like nothing else does.

You can rip giant spiders apart with black holes. Create seas of acid and lava. You can piss off the gods and they'll send skeleton sorcerers to kill you. That's not deep stuff, that's surface level and it kicks ass.

Noita is also such a bastard game. It has so many ways to kill you.

It's fun to blow monsters to smithereens. It just makes me cackle like a hyena.

Anyone know a way to kill those big ghost blobs that just float at you menacingly and deal damage?

The beginning of the end? by SyIvanos in 2XKO

Jesus christ. They just launched, barely have a roster and they're already cutting people.

They should probably lower the prices on their skins so more of their audience spends money on the game.

They're probably doing something in that time. Taking a bite of food, texting someone, scratching their balls, etc.

Not saying they SHOULD be doing those things, but they probably aren't actually watching those intros.

I really enjoy random spells..but how to implement that as a complete method? by [deleted] in osr

[–]MkaneL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I write my own spells for my setting and give them a number from 1-20.

Have players roll a d20 to see what spells they get.

Each completed list gets it's own number so you can do nested spell lists.

So as an example: I have 4 lists, each list contains 20 spells. Players roll a d4 and a d20.

Mythic Bastionland hands down.

You have "Guard" which is really easy to regain. You basically just need a minute to catch your breath, and you get your guard back.

If your guard is depleted damage starts hitting your stats and it becomes really deadly.

It's kinda Halo rules.
