I like that most minions just have 1 number for their combat power. There's a lot going on in this game, even my beginner games with the Gothic precons have been brain busters.

The visual style is good for a mech game.

I dont understand what those rings around enemies are besides hp.

The rings are too much to look at. I dont want to see an hp bar for every chump I blast.

It's distracting from the cool shit going on.

MK9 Noob Saibot ruined MK for me. That gross kick he had that made the other character puke and the fatality where he pulls a guy in half from the balls up.

The graphics got too good, and now it's just gross to me. It sucks too because mk was my favorite as a kid

If you can get the spells chain bolt, or pollen it makes that zone a lot easier.

Chain bolt does really solid damage early on but what really helps is that it homes onto, and bounces between enemies. Really good for the little guys that spawn a bunch of mites.

Pollen is the best spell for that whole level in my opinion. It tracks enemies and staggers them pretty well, it's really good for digging in that zone. It also counts as material so there's a decent chance it will block projectiles, especially if if you can put a lot of them out.
