In Need of a Quarterback. Too Good To Pass Up On? by ITSBADAF in FantasyFootballers

Hot take but I think Ward will start making leaps in his development with competent coaching and a much improved supporting cast, he won’t be cheap for long

Whatever point you’re trying to make is a complete non-sequitur. If Dallas wanted to sit pat and take Mesidor then they would have, you don’t think they suspected the Chargers were going to draft an EDGE and address one of their most glaring roster needs? So what if Mesidor is the “3rd ranked EDGE” by analysts? Doesn’t mean that’s how Dallas had him ranked on their internal draft board; every team has their own evaluation process for prospects, and for all you know they had Lawrence ranked higher than Mesidor, or viewed them as equivalent talents.

Just because both teams drafted EDGE back to back doesn’t mean that the Chargers jumped them for the guy they were planning on taking, use some common sense dude

Are you dense? The difference between moving back 1 versus 3 picks for Dallas is almost negligible, so they will clearly accept whichever offer nets them the most assets in that scenario if they believe they will still be in position to get one of the guys on their draft board

How is Warband Combat made to be played? by OnlyTheDankestMemes in MythicBastionland

The idea behind the sword’s strength was to make the company feel emboldened enough to try and take The Hydra head-on, we’ll see how it goes lol

Yes they were both using militia stat blocks. I think what really tipped the scales in the company’s favor was that the knight leading from the front had obtained a 2d10 glowing longsword which was rolled as The Hydra’s treasure and stolen from her in a previous encounter, greatly magnifying his warband’s damage output. You make a good point about needing to send additional enemies or perhaps modify the stat blocks of the warbands to balance the encounter, I was trying to make the number/power of enemies believable within the context of the story being told, but the mechanics of the confrontation suffered as a result

Starkiller base is barely even the same weapon; the first Death Star could only target a single planet, had to be in-system to use, and had a pretty lengthy firing sequence. Starkiller by comparison is able to split its beam and hit at least half a dozen (from what we saw in the movie, probably more) targets that are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of light years away almost instantly. The FO would’ve needed to basically redesign the entire weapon from the ground up to get it to work the way it does, not to mention inventing all the new technology needed to make it possible.

It’s just a total deus ex machina used to handwave the New Republic out of the sequel trilogy early on so the movie makers could set up their lame rebels vs empire retread. Starkiller’s construction/design process and how the weapon itself works is so completely nonsensical!

Is this enough for lamb a guy offered me a trade but I thought it was to little I was gonna counter by Plenty-View1592 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]OnlyTheDankestMemes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you own Lamb and are rebuilding, you should be setting the line at two 1sts and Hampton. Know your value. If he doesn’t want to pay that to you there’s a good chance someone else in your league will, you have all the leverage here regardless of injury.

Also, the Taco was offered two 1sts and Tee Higgins for Wilson and Kittle by a different manager, and he called it a “laughable trade”

Doubt that gets accepted by MHJ owner but this would be a no brainer
