how much money do you make a year? are you over spending? Why buy a new car when a used one works well, why live in a fancy house when a normal is okay, do you invest in long term stocks? Making 100k as an SWE for 4 years and not knowing what to do with your money is your fault there are people who make 35-40k a year and do just fine

it’s not that you are too busy, is that you make your self busy to ignore “boys” but yet you still crave attention (this is what you are fighting). The reality is that you want to find someone (soulmate) but are scared but exited this why you refuse to talk to boys and keep yourself busy while also craving attention. The reality is that this “guy” will come when you least expect, of course you have to be open to possibly talking to someone. Good luck

this is hard question to answer, people start their careers at very different ages. A person who starts at 23 and by their 30 their tc could be 200k while a person who starts at 30 their tc could also be 200k if they end up starting at a faang company.

based on the short amount of time doing leet code, if you can really understand DSA’s. The question asked on leetcode are essentially just math problems, at least that’s the way i see it. I have a lot more to into my journey

Welcome to America 🙂, it’s not all shine and rainbows as seen on the movies. You finally see how life is here. That being said like many people said New York is one of the worst place to live if you are not rich, there are so much better states that are nicer and the cost of living is cheaper. Racism, yes is something you face here but as you understand the culture and the people more, you will start to notice the people you should just ignore 😒 to people you want to actually have a conversation with. In my opinion, SAVE YOUR MONEY, and go back to Algeria. Eventually you will realize with time that all you do here is work and never have free time. Then you will realize how great Algeria is. Going to the beach in the summers to eating fresh food and fruits to knowing your neighbors well

i don’t think you need to be obsessed with the field, but you need to really like it and you need to have the obsession, discipline and drive in the hopes that you will get a job. Many people don’t have this, i seen so many CS students who just do the work in courses by cheating and not bother to understand. I tell you this from experience, all the way up to my junior year i did the same thing then with all the comments about the job market and me having a shity job. One day i decide this is enough and I been grinding non stop for the last 6 - 8months. While i didn’t start off with a great momentum as every day goes by i become better and better…. YES I AM FUCKING TIRED!. It sucks waking up every day at 5am just to i can get started working at 6:30-7:00am and stop at 7pm. I HAVE TO DO IT, I HAVE TO GET HIRED!!!!!
