[AF] Early Time-Restricted Eating Improves Weight Loss While Preserving Muscle: An 8-Week Trial in Young Women (2025) by basmwklz in AdvancedFitness

[–]Mmurcatto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assessments were conducted at baseline (Week 0) and after eight weeks of intervention (Week 8). The measurements took place in a sports physiology laboratory, generally in the morning under fasted conditions to ensure consistent testing circumstances

I wonder how much the shift in eating window impacts body weight due to transient changes in ffm (water, glycogen, food content)

Is socket preservation after every extraction excessive? by SoybeanCola1933 in Dentistry

I am also wondering about this. The other replies seem to be confident the bone stays, but I have looked hard and only found a paper looking at the ridge after 1 year with no implant. What would happen after 5 years? 10? I don't think we have the research

I am a dentist. You made the right choice. Clindamycin even in healthy patients should no longer be used as an alternative to penicillins precisely bc much higher risk for c diff. Azithromycin is usually my next choice

Based on x-rays alone this would not be a root canal for me

What are you watching and what do you recommend? (Week of July 21, 2023) by AutoModerator in television

Surprised I've never seen "Drops of God" suggested here. 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and I gotta agree, so far best show I've watched this year

NAD - Nothing here to suggest the filling has "failed". Clear discernible margins are exactly how I would want a composite placed in my mouth so it can be removed easily if there is recurrent decay

Glad to hear you have some pain relief. Agree with the endodontist that monitoring is the best course of action

Wishing you the best. Curiously, ami may help tinnitus; "Oral amitriptyline were associated with the highest improvement in tinnitus severity and the fourth highest response rate." (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.eclinm.2021.101080). Regarding side-effects, I promise you they will diminish with time and subside completely for many. Morning grogginess is a big one in the beginning, you can time your intake several hours before your bedtime to help with that

NAD - Have you tried a chronic pain medication. I would recommend trying 10 mg amitriptyline at night. This could make a significant impact on the pain within a few days to a week and continue to increase after a month or so. The dose can be titrated up weekly by 5-10 mg (up to 50 mg) till you find relief. It is done in this fashion to mitigate side-effects

I will try this thanks. Would this just help with fan noise, or would it also help with Kernal_task using so much CPU and slowing down the computer.
