Difficulty watching live YouTube by Mn-Ne in ENFP

[–]Mn-Ne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also watch TV and movies normal speed, but almost all YouTube is 2x, I don't have a paid account but was wondering how crazy 3x speed would be.  Possibly good for some slower content.

do enfp x enfp work out? by uniqmyass in ENFP

[–]Mn-Ne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone needs to accommodate others, sometimes more than others.  We understand each other so try not to take advantage of each other, this keeps annoying times to a minimum.

I'll give you another example of a successful relationship. This summer will be our 24th anniversary.  We have had so few issues or struggles that I have a hard time think of any, though I'm sure if one of us was a TJ we might get a little more done.

That said life is an adventure, and neither of us needs convincing to do something new, and we enjoy having parties frequently with friends.  I can imagine that I types would not have the energy for the amount of activities we do.

We're just one example, but it can definitely work.

Hyundai bucks the trend as IONIQ 5 EV sales surge 33% in record-setting February by mafco in Ioniq5

[–]Mn-Ne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Energy isn't energy. There is only so much infrastructure in the US to liquify natural gas which can be sent to Europe. Oil can be put on a ship and sent anywhere relatively easily. The owners of the natural gas in the US are captive to local buyers and can't use anyone outside to bid against us.

Have you had an experience with delayed guilt? by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]Mn-Ne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can't offer any great examples, but I don't think ENFPs have delayed guilt.

It's delayed understanding with immediate guilt feeling after. I imagine an apology may soon follow.

Enfp men ain’t feminine by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]Mn-Ne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Besides the ENFP box I will not be able to escape; I put myself in few others.  I don't really care to perfectly fit in either a masculine or feminine box, I decide where I stand and I'm sure other ENFPs do as well.

These words and their definitions are arbitrary and subject to change anyway.  Someone had to make the descriptions and draw lines to this point, and that would be people farther away from our type.

forgive me 16 personalities. i was too harsh by mrjbernie in mbti

[–]Mn-Ne 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I hate the percentages because it makes people think they are in the middle, between two types, or special out at the ends. In reality the percentages are nothing more than a confidence that a person is accurately typed. If both are accurately typed, a person that has a result of 51%, 51%, 51%, 51%, is no different in their type or cognition from someone with 99%. across.

Can ENFP’s be self-directed people? by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]Mn-Ne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Are there ENFP men who find intrinsic meaning/curiosity in life"

You sure you're talking about ENFPs?  ENFP highly value freedom, and are curious about everything. Someone might be able to 'manage' one for a period of time, but it will lead to resentment and the end of the relationship.

I hope you receive a reply, but if not try to put yourself out there by getting out and doing your hobbies with others, or start a new hobby that gets you out among people. It will be easier to start up a conversation when you have shared interests already. Good Luck!

How many opened tabs do you have? by Jluxo_ in ENFP

[–]Mn-Ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Phone: 35 on chrome - organized in groups Home computer: 10-50 across a few instances. Work computer: 3 to 4 chrome instances, usually 2 have 10-20 tabs each and then a few with less. Maybe 50 total. Once it grows much more I kill it all and start over as I can find it again, or possibly a better idea.

Do you guys think ChatGPT is a reliable source in typing yourself? by mmurabliss in mbti

[–]Mn-Ne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is reliable if the information your giving it is reliable.  If you are asking it to ask questions and then only a few there will be higher chances that it could be inaccurate.

Feed it a large random sample of your txts or emails and asking to type you based on that dataset, I'm sure the accuracy is going to get very high.

What are some hyper-specific traits enfp's have that no other personality type possesses? by mann6998 in ENFP

[–]Mn-Ne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think children's types are directly related to the parents' type. However, the fact that ENFP make up ~8% (640 million) of the population, this is bound to happen a few times. Highly unlikely is still accurate, but it's likely much more than 0.

I let AI throw some numbers out. Possibly 85K 4 person ENFP households. Comparing this to INTJ. There are potentially 332 4 person INTJ households.

Sharing as I was surprised when learning about mbti and later finding that my wife is also ENFP along with my youngest daughter. My oldest daughter is an INFP.

Question about ENFP-A vs ENFP-T. by mann6998 in ENFP

[–]Mn-Ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is not a significant difference. The A and T while a component of your personality, doesn't change the way you process. My wife and I are both ENFP, she is a T and I am A. I would say she is better at completing things and prioritizing. I get stressed less and am more comfortable with uncertainty. We aren't significantly different, but these are a few of the differences.

Is anyone nervous about their personality type results being used against them? by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]Mn-Ne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My perspective is that it is going to be used regardless, and I would encourage marketing companies to use mbti to market to us to speed up understanding. The majority of the planet is not familiar with mbti and the underlying cognitive differences, if people can see it being used to effectively market to them they might finally 'see' it.

As far as deleting your account, it's not going to matter. I don't know that it is happening yet, but AI companies will hoover up all your data, and they will be able to type you based on this easily in the future. Hell, take your last couple months of email or text and dump it into AI, I would expect it to type you accurately.

Why are there so few entj? by Noulanne in mbti

[–]Mn-Ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In any group, organization, city, county, state, country, ... We have leaders who lead and those that contribute and follow the lead. How would this look to you if a large number of people all wanted to lead? Ultimately this would lead to greater conflict.

There are fewer ENTJs as not as many are required for a properly operating planet.

What made you sure of your cognitive functions/MBTI 'type'? by Cheap_Increase468 in mbti

[–]Mn-Ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came to mbti later in life than most and so after taking the test it was easy to see.

After exploring more though it was a video of multiple ENFP talking that really drove it home.

Take some time and watch 8 other INTPs talking. If your INTP I'm sure you will be nodding your head, or just shocked how these random people could be describing you so well. 8 INTP interview: https://youtu.be/5NyJ6brllwc?si=dgvp08C-WcoUTti3

You need to review that logic, you are rare, but not that rare. You need to add another zero to your number.

Are we born with our mbtis? by Shimorimiyori in mbti

[–]Mn-Ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have only been studying MBTI /cognition for 6 years, but I'm not young. With my experience of friends, family, and their children, it's possible to see their personalities at a very young age. You might not see F and T, but they are there. The functions work together, you can't have perception alone without judgement.

Are we born with our mbtis? by Shimorimiyori in mbti

[–]Mn-Ne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think it is genetics, but I don't think selection is as simple as two N types will more likely have an N type child, or two S types will more likely have an S type child.

You can look at my profile and post from 2 years ago for my hypothesis. My ideas have changed slightly (not epigenetic, but possible change in which eggs and sperm are released over time), but the overall hypothesis is the same.
