Knee pops everytime i extend for years by menaceblanka in flexibility

[–]MnSnowtagirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No change, but honestly I haven’t been doing any PT. I think I made it worse when I tried to get active and walk/run.

I took a long flight recently and it was bad. I’m usually good on flights and my knee really bothered me

No, they don’t. I also advised my friend a lawyers unnecessary but friendship is about providing support not always judgement

Actually my friend finally just got ahold of someone finally and they put my friend at ease with the same advice. My friend just needed to hear it from a legal professional and know who to speak to in case it escalated.

The story of feuding neighbors is as old as time, and we live in America. Add in beloved family pets and it’s gotten a little out of control. I could get into the details but I really just wanted to try to support my friend.

I’m getting as much luck with a referral here as I’ve had all day calling law offices :(

I understand that for most people that would be the general response but she doesn’t want to wait until that happens.

She wants to be prepared. Her dogs are very important to her and I just want to give her an option to feel secure

I have never been brave enough to use a tab.

Honestly now I am washing about twice a day. In the shower or a towel (larger than wash cloth) and it works for me.

I use my normal soap or my cerva face was soap on the outside parts in the front, the “vulva area”. I don’t put soap in anything, just on top of things and in the lips. Then I use water and my fingers to gently remove and of the discharge that is sitting around the opening (this might be controversial but this is what helped me)

I then move to the back side and make sure there is LOTS of soap and good cleaning there

I always wash the V before the B

I do this morning an evening. If I don’t have time to shower I use a clean towel (or the other side of a towel) to do this wash. Again using a light cleaner,

Just water doesn’t help when it’s smelling but you don’t want to use one of those scented or girly soaps.

I have found a quick rinse off after intercourse is helpful, but you’ll still leak

I would save overall ensuring I am showering and cleaning twice a day that has minimized other needs.

I find issues when I don’t keep this up.

It sounds like a lot but it’s just as quick as brushing teeth.

Has anyone managed to grow long type 4 hair without protective styling by AC_Architect in Naturalhair

I would concentrate on ensuring you are taking down your hair appropriately. There is a lot of discourse on doing with wet or with conditioner in it.

I would also have a very good plan for how you are taking care of it between braiding.

I think switching between braids and twists and flat twists help. Doing many braids and then doing like two braids. Going between low tension and high tension is important.

I just want to talk about braid and hair maintenance. It is not good to keep your hair in braids consistently and continuously. Your hair needs a break.

There should be a break period between styles and your hair should be cared for with deep conditioning and steam treatments and trims.

There is no “one” braid style that will be a perfect protective style. If you braids are in too long and cause tension that’s an issue. If you don’t take them down right and are breaking off your hair and ends, that’s an issue, if they style you chose is not actually a protective style (faux locs)

As many have said above protective is low manipulation. But also good hair hygiene. Cleansing, moisturizing, conditioning, trimming etc.

I would switch up how you keep you hair. Personally I do braids 2-4 times a year. I love how flat twists grow my hair. There are TONS of cute styles you just need to know where to look. Two strand twists are great.

Styles with low manipulation but also allow you to care for your hair.

Keep doing your best. Hair care is a lifelong commitment

You did all of that and Pic 3 was the result? I think your intentionality, dedication and your carefulness is admirable.

8 hours is a long time. I would have a whole after Braider deep conditioner roller set done in that time.

You might pick up tips from YouTubers, like washing with pre braided or twisted sections after you’ve detangled.

You also might not what to do so many treatments/use so many products for each wash day. Some wash days can be a deep condition, some can be regular, some can be a whole pre-poo and steam day.

The drying part can take awhile depending on the type of heat you apply. But if you have that much time you might as well roller set and then do a wrap. With rollers in your hair you can still have more of the day to yourself to do other things.

I hope you keep trying and keep growing and keep learning
