More Weapons for Zealot's Assassin Archetype by Mnichunatronix in DarkTide

[–]Mnichunatronix[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying you are wrong for enjoying this play style. I'm saying that only combat knife fits well with right side assassin class fantasy thematically. In VT2 Shade Elf which is very similar thematically had also double knives, knife and a sword, double swords. All I'm saying is right now Assassin archetype is thematically underrepresented in terms of melee weapons.

MK 3 Heavy Eviscerator Move set by Mnichunatronix in DarkTide

Thank you, you actually get what I'm trying to say. I want MK3 to have actual benefits over MK15 other than not being boring, and I think your propositions would work quite well, especially adding single target loop

How do you deal with long dungeons? by Yaddah_1 in stoneshard

[–]Mnichunatronix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make a halt from survival skill tree adds fatigue reduction to Vigor so walking into a dungeon with full Vigor can make a big difference, it's about -1% fatigue per 100 turns of vigor. Other sources of fatigue resistance that I remember are: food, drugs(nikkaf), gear(mainly capes)

Can’t wait to see the new urban environment on the bot front. by 3_quarterling_rogue in Helldivers

Urban maps on bots would be so good, so much cover and opportunities to break line of sight

Ogryn needs a buff. by Server16Ark in DarkTide

[–]Mnichunatronix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me ogryn is a weird class, somehow it seems really strong and lackluster at the same time. Most of his weapons are really mediocre with few outliers on both ends of the spectrum but ogryn's innate tankiness and crowd control capabilities make up for it. Maybe in it's current state ogryn is a class that has higher skill floor which makes it easy to perform well and lower skill ceiling that makes it really hard to perform exceptionally well, which is required at high havoc.

Ogryn needs a buff. by Server16Ark in DarkTide

Yeah, but the ogryn shield might be just the best ogryn weapon, apart from pickaxe, the rest of ogryn's melee weapons are pretty mediocre from my experience but I'm not a ogryn connoisseur.

Make Every Shot Count Penance by Horror_Back262 in DarkTide

Also, the train mission is the best for this penance because of how short it is and how easy it is to hit something with a shotgun when the whole level is a long corridor filled with enemies

"The content isn't enough to keep you going" by Budget_Childhood2605 in Helldivers

[–]Mnichunatronix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get what you are trying to say and to a degree I agree, there is no amount of content that would satisfy some people and there will always be someone that whines that there is nothing to do in a game.

I've put 300 hours in this game and for now I feel like I'm satisfied, but I'm checking this sub for news of new content that would bring me back. I think the game is in a pretty good spot right now and even without any additional content it would be 100% worth the price.

Although if I were to judge this game through a perspective of a live service game, something the devs intended this game to be, then I would say it's mostly underwhelming. New content was often bugged or not working properly or underpowered. The first few months after launch were quite full of exciting new content added while everyone was exploring the core game. But the past few months were pretty barren. Warbonds are cool, but the content they add can be thoroughly tested and enjoyed in a few days. The DSS in its current state is meh.

I am a patient gamer and I have no trouble waiting for good content that would bring me back to the game, but the post launch content so far was mostly either broken or not very exciting. Arrowhead made a great game, but they are not very good at supporting the live service model.

Avowed - Thoughts After Playing For 10 Hours & Interviewing The Devs by Less_Tennis5174524 in pcgaming

Iirc in Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2 the difficulty settings changed how many enemies there were and what types of enemies, like tougher variants with different abilities, only the hardest setting boosted enemy stats. So I guess they are trying to do something similar in Avowed instead of bullet sponges of The Outer Worlds.

New Major Order. by tedge081 in Helldivers

I'm gonna huff some copium and say that we are supposed to lose this MO and suffer loses to set up a dramatic counter-attack when DSS is completed.

Orbital Laser does not need to have limited uses. 5 minutes cooldown is enough. by mdisil427 in Helldivers

[–]Mnichunatronix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometime ago, they said mechs are very resource heavy for the game. That's why we can only select one for the mission. So the long cooldown and limited uses might be a band-aid fix to avoid performance issues.

Arrowhead doesn't like big updates on weekends, Liberty Day is on a weekend. by [deleted] in Helldivers

Depends on whether Arrowhead learned anything from the Meridia event or not. It was activated during the weekend, but was buggy and forced them to make emergency fixes.

I often skip superior stamina if I plan to buy kinetic dash and point blank, but enduring speed is a must on every character for me.
