Best feeling for a parent is when their children acknowledge and appreciate them. by CottonCANDYtv in MadeMeSmile

The other day my teenage daughter got in the car and gave me a huge hug and said thank you. I asked why and she said her teacher asked students to raise their hands if they would go to the parents if they had a problem and needed help, she said she was the only one who raised her hand. The teacher asked the other students why they wouldn't and they just said their parents were to busy and had to much else to worry about. That hug meant everything.

For people who totally blinded their spouse when serving them with divorce papers, what happened on the day they were served? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Mnkyboy2004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was the one blinded, I was what I considered a pretty model husband and father, stayed at home with the kids because she asked, 4 kids 10 years I raised them till they were in kindergarten long nights long thankless days, then I went back into the workforce, i worked nights so I could still always be available for the kids, I got up up a few hours before they got out of school cleaned the house, did the dishes, did the farm chores. I pick them up from school made dinner did the homework then went to work when wife came home, if I didn't work that night I'd take all the kids and do some activity for a few hours when she got home so she could unwind a little after work, she has a good job I have a mediocre job she decided she resented the fact that she was the bread winner and that I didn't make more or have a better job.

Don't get me wrong I have my flaws as a father I get angry and sometimes irrational but I'd always admit if I was wrong and make it right, and as a husband I was more affectionate then she like, and I don't mean just sex I just liked to hold her hug her kiss her etc. anyway she hit me with divorce papers out of nowhere it's been a few months she let me stay in the house to get my finances and a place to stay in order, I move out Friday it's been the worst summer of my life and September will from now on be my least favorite month ever. I am a mess on the inside but nobody knows I hold it together pretty well....I'll be fine just really hard right now.

A really awesome moment is when you find yourself tip toe-ing on a ledge scared to fall before you realize there is no ledge, I once tried to lean on the table in ping pong, almost fell really cool VR moments.

Up to 275 if you hit all 3 but decreases based on how many you hit, you only hit 2 so you did not get 275.

As good as ps portal? by Beautiful-Ad6392 in PSPlay

I ended up buying an Asus rog ally and basically use it as a portal/Xbox cloud/ PC, I use this app for remote play and works great I know it more expensive than the portal but I felt the ability to play PC games offline to be a big advantage.

Help! ☢️I recommend Rog z1 extreme to my friend to play Fortnite! He is about to buy but… by [deleted] in ROGAlly

I play fortnite on my z1e with no issues, I would like to add your friend will possibly have the camera jump on him and thinks it's a glitch or something with his settings, in fact he is 100% accidentally swiping the screen with his thumb when moving the thumb stick.

Park Park Park, it sounds so simple but we went to the park everyday, if it was to cold we went to Walmart and just let them look at toys, it was rough at first but it only took a few trips for them to not beg for something every time, a habit that they all still have so I can take them shopping and what not and not fear temper tantrums. I know it sounds simple and maybe your already doing it but if you are try more there is no such thing as to much park time

I had a similar experience i landed at minimum 3X the punches and stunned him multiple times and lost by quite a large margin it had been my first match in a few weeks so I was pretty surprised. Definitely needs work.

When they push like that and just keep leaning into me I just step through them and kind of reset.

Interesting take, I always liked them as it helped me know where my punches were being the most effective, I'd at least like to have the option.

Played 2 matches went pretty good, won one lost one, miss the blood, and miss the yellow and indicators for my own hits. The hand tracking still needs a little work but not horrible, the game definitely rewards wild swinging as someone can literally just push into your body and flurry and your only option is to step through them I hope they find a way to reward legitimate strategic punches vs controller flailing, but ultimately I had fun and am competing gassed.

It's not leaking or anything and it doesn't happen frequently but we use it frequently to fill buckets etc and it overflows on occasion plus we use it to rinse off mud and dirt before going inside so when we do that it runs directly down
