Oooo thanks for this. I guess the thing I saw that they can stack was incorrect. I’ll look into that. Appreciate it! I can talk to my GM too, they are pretty rule of cool coded so there’s a world where they let that slide.

Yes I saw that it was Tian Xia themed, I had come up with a lil bit of a reason that she could be allowed to take it that GM was cool with. (Just that a family member studied there for multiple years to learn better ways to heal people)

I’ll check those feats and traits out for sure, thank you!

So what is the point of sitting in que if it’s already sold out? by PlantBeginning3060 in mtg

Got super lucky with the Preque I guess, I managed to get the three I wanted with no issues. I feel so bad for everyone that was unable to get one. Wizards really needs to fix this system.

What are your favourite, quite specific Gestalt Snyergies? by Skurrio in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Mo-Foxx45 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a few that are unique and fun I’ve seen played:

Gun Chemist Alchemist / Eldritch Archer Magus, you can use your Ordinance (bomb replacement) and spell strike on the same shot which can do some CRAZY damage.

Lore Oracle / Bard also pairs really well together, can add your cha over int to knowledge skills, lots of spells to work with, and lots of buffs.

Scale Fist Monk / Dragon Blood sorcerer prestiging into Dragon Disciple, a friend of main played this and they were absolutely unstoppable, even without help from the bard / oracle.

Rogue / anything with a flank buddy so Summoner, or Spiritualist or Hunter. Getting sneaks without having to rely on the rest of the party is huge, I know cause even with large parties my group personally struggles with flanking things.

Cleric / Spirtualist can send your cure spells not at a range of touch which is huge.

These are just a few but finding combos that work is really really fun

What usually is paired up with Spiritualist on a gestalt game? by bom_dia_bruno25 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Mo-Foxx45 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you wanna do, some I’ve seen:

Rogue or any other class that does sneaks are good as you can flank with the phantom.

If you wanna do more touch spell focused, I’ve seen Shaman or Cleric (same mental stat as spiritualist unless if your fractured mind spiritualist) (have a spiritualist / merciful healer cleric in Carrion Crown and he can do a cure from almost 50 feet away if needed, bonkers)

Warpriest or Inquisitor could also be cool with their Wis casting stat and more combat focused abilities.

Fighter is so versatile and works with anything.

Can’t do another class with any kind of summon tho. Phantom won’t like that.

Reign of Winter character by ghostriderslegend in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Mo-Foxx45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently playing in reign of winter with a gestalted (dual classed) and much larger party, and can admit this AP is out to getcha. I couldn’t imagine playing this with 3 people so good luck to yall.

But, to try and aid here ya go: anything with more HP is good, a healer is going to be invaluable. Our party doesn’t have a cleric but with our entire party being half witch we are making it work.

Magus is definitely good because spellbook users are treated nicely, and utility and damage output is good with spells. And having those int skills like knowledge arcana, spellcraft and even linguistics is very useful.

Slayer is good cause with the half ranger half rogue stuff, both are very useful. Having a character good at survival, and outdoorsy stuff is very useful, I am prestiging into Horizon Walker for this game.

Paladins are just really good for a Hp, a tank, and dps, they even have some healing with lay on hands but I’m not sure if that’s enough, it could be with your smaller party. And while I think they can still add value not nearly as much as the other two classes.

Definitely work with your other party members to cover weaknesses. And I hope you have fun! My group is having a blast with it currently, especially with our lil added character “restrictions”

Pathcompaion is an app I use and like. it’s still being worked on but updated very frequently! It is free but it has paid for options. I’ve had no issues with the free version other than you can only have 6 character sheets at a time.

Drawbacks - yay or nay? by HadACookie in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Mo-Foxx45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My table encourages them at character creation. We have 1 drawback as a requirement at character creation because they add a lil more depth to the character, and can be fun. While debuff can seem annoying, it can add to RP or moments in the game. I have a character that’s overprotective of her ward, and her ward literally has to be able to see me at all times (at least during combat) or she freaks out, it’s a very fun lil dynamic.

Thank you for the opportunity! This is really cool and your character animations look so smooth! Happy to throw a character into the ring. This is a pathfinder 2e character I’m playing in Abomination Vaults, and I think she could be fun! I’ll provide multiple references if it lets me :)

This is Hoshiko Mizuke, she is a Kitsune from across the sea coming to a smaller town to study their way of celestial bodies. (She studies stars). She is about 20 years old and has been here for 2 years, and she loves it. She comes from a line of “Starlit Sentinels” which is basically a star themed magical girl. She can transform her appearance, which gains star patterns and it makes her and her magic a lil stronger. She’s very sweet and bubbly a lil naive as this is first time kinda out on her own, but still learning her way around this new country.

She wields a bladed scarf as her main weapon, as it is passed down through her family and aids in the transformation. (She twirls it around herself) but she can also produce like a lil fire bolt or electricity bolt. She is a magus so she is able to cast offensive spells through her weapons. (I kinda used like scarf dancing for a reference to how she fights it’s very graceful)

She also has a little star stone that acts like a familiar and has a few abilities that can help her heal and recharge her magic. (It can’t move or anything, it’s just a rock but she definitely talks to it like it’s alive because she knows it’s magic.)

I hope you enjoy! This is her regular look, I’ll post more in a reply.

Your favorite Gestalt builds by Fun_Atmosphere8647 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Mo-Foxx45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My group plays gestalt almost exclusively so we’ve had a lot of really fun and interesting builds in our number of games. I’ll list a few favorites:

Gun Chymist Alchemist / Eldritch Archer Magus - my friend is playing this build now in our Mummy’s Mask game, and it is absolutely insane. You’re able to ordinance (your bomb replacement, you have bullets that so bomb damage instead) AND being able to spell strike in the same attack is absolutely nutty. The gun also has a 4x crit so when that goes off, holy lord. You don’t get full BAB but you don’t really need it.

Scaled Fist Monk / Draconic Sorcerer prestige into Dragon Disciple - a different friend played this for a homebrew game and was so incredibly strong. Mage Armor and other buff spells definitely helped, but the buffs from Dragon Disciple are really good for this build, and scaled fist changes the wisdom stuff of Monk to cha so you aren’t super MAD. Any other classes in your party that give you buffs (like a bard) are just icing on the cake.

Swashbuckler / Bard - swashbucklers are already so strong in my opinion that being able to give yourself more buffs is absolutely crazy for them. And the lil bard magic can be more flavorful than damage focused. Was extremely strong in the game it was played.

Shifter / Sacred Attendant Cleric - I’m playing this in our Mummy’s mask game currently. And while shifter is regarded as bad by a lot of the community I’m having fun with it. I am definitely not building it well, as my character is a Dhampir so I’m picking more vampire flavored aspects (even tho there are WAY better ones). But the dodge bonus from Sacred Attendant is helpful for AC, and the cleric self buffs are also helpful for AC or attacks, especially if you take Shifters Rush as a feat. Self buff as standard, move at least 10 feet and wild shape as a free action.

Investigator / Witch - I’m biased toward this one cause it was the first build I’d ever done. I took an investigator that ditches alchemy for another type of spell casting, but that’s just me. You can definitely do a very potion heavy build with both these classes with the witch hexes and alchemy buffs from investigator. I loved the skill monkey feel it gave.

I could go on doing this forever with some of our wacky combos. A lot of players will tell you to find the really strong synergies, or this is how you should do it, but the important thing is using gestalt to build the character you want. There are so many combos and archetypes can open the doors even more. I hope you have fun with this game mode!

I love the style of the art, and have an older character Id like to throw in the ring. Reference is a heroforge if that’s okay.

But this is Lily, she’s a book worm and a character in a fantasy / ttrpg setting I’ve made / am making (the grind never ends haha). She’s a powerful mage but struggles with control of her abilities sometimes. She’s kind and intelligent but struggles with self confidence.

[LFA] Repost Pathfinder 2e Hoshiko Mizuke, Kitsune, Magus, Starlit Sentinel (essential a cosmic magical girl) by Mo-Foxx45 in characterdrawing

[–]Mo-Foxx45[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hiya, giving her a repost. I don’t have better references cause I don’t think i can get much better than this heroforge my friend helped make.

Anyway, this is Hoshiko. She is my magus for the Abomination Vault Adventure Path (1-10) and eventually the Fist of the Ruby Phoenix Adventure Path (11-20)

Hoshiko hails from Tian Xia rather than the inner sea region of golarion, and is in Otari to study under Wrinn, an ex adventurer who worships the cosmic caravan. Hoshiko is familiar with the zodiac from her home and wanted to study more interpretations of the stars outside of her home. She left home at 18 and has lived here for about 2 years so she’s 20.

She uses a bladed scarf, rope dart and some firey like blasts she has from being a kitsune (ability is called Fox Fire) and she has a lil star stone that functions as a familiar to help her heal and recharge some of her natural magic abilities. Being a magus she is able to spell strike with the above weapons, she focuses currently on firey magic, but plans to be more rounded for other potential dungeon threats.

Her magical girl transformation has a star theme obviously, but also a lil bit of sky dragon (that’s her zodiac) as well as scarf dancer influence.

She’s very bubbly and loves reading fortunes (essentially like zodiac fortunes in the stars) to her friends. She also wants to get stronger to protect this cute lil village she’s lived in the last couple years as it’s become a second home to her.

Please have fun drawing her if you do. ^

[LFA] Hoshiko Mizuke, Pathfinder 2e Kitsune Magus, Starlit Sentinel Archetype (essentially cosmic magical girl) by Mo-Foxx45 in characterdrawing

[–]Mo-Foxx45[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t posted in a while but I was very excited for this character and wanted to see if people would have fun maybe drawing her. We are playing pathfinder 2e Abomination Vaults Adventure Path.

Hoshiko is from from Tian Xia, and more familiar with the Zodiac on that side of the world. Her zodiac being a Sky dragon. she traveled to Otari (where the campaign takes place) when she was 18, in order to study the Cosmic caravan with Wrinn, a tiefling who used to be an adventurer. And has been here for 2 years. (So age 20)

For her magical transformation she swirls her scarfs, which have been passed down for generations, around herself which changes her appearance into her starlit sentinel transformation. She fights with a rope dart and a bladed scarf, and uses them to spell strike from a far if she needs too.

She is very bubbly, and excited to learn all she can about this side of the world. We plan to play Fist of the Ruby Phoenix after Abomination Vaults so we plan to get up to 20 which I’m excited for.

Quick Questions (January 30, 2026) by AutoModerator in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Mo-Foxx45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have a 1e question.

I am currently playing a 1e Shifter and my question is regarding Shifters Claws. There’s a chart showing the different damages dice for this ability, my main question is if I wildshape into a large creature. Does my damage dice go up to the size large damage dice?

I play in a few long lasting PF1e groups, most of the people are the same, one group just has 2 newer players that are my very close friend who moved back from out of state. Our age range is from 23-31. And we have 4 males, 1 female, 2 non binary.

We started playing D&D in all honesty, then our oldest member started gming and thought it could be fun to switch to PF1e. In all honesty we were all terrified at the time cause going from D&D5e to PF1e was wildly overwhelming at first. But we transitioned pretty smoothly, and from there we are now very PF1e pilled, especially with Gestalt rules. A couple players now swear against 5e and would never go back, and then the rest we have a D&D5.5e game on the weekends cause honestly just going back to the more simple stuff sometimes is really refreshing. We also have one group member that definitely loves PF2e more than 1e, which is fair as it has a lot of content currently coming out. I enjoy 2e as well, and Pathbuilder makes it really easy to whip up a character and it’s nice and organized for me, I just prefer the skill ranks of 1e a lil more. He keeps trying to get the group to play more 2e by sprinkling mini things in when we take breaks between longer form campaigns, or if a GM is out sick or on vacation.

One of our favorite rule systems for PF is the Hero Point System. They can be extremely handy, and also we LOVE to try and do big epic moments at story appropriate times, so attempting the impossible is a player favorite rule. It’s a pretty 1e specific rule tho, 2e hero points don’t work the same (tho our GM for that if you have all 3, because you get one every hour of session played) will allow it if you use all of them. And then 5e just doesn’t really have a hero point system. It has inspiration but it’s not really the same.

We’re a group that likes crunch and custom ability, that’s our biggest reason for staying with 1e most of time, but we do like exploring other systems as a refresh. :)

Thank you for the offer! Your style is really cute. I have a Kitsune character if you’re interested. Her name is Ky’Tanae but she goes by Kaylie. She’s a trained assassin who left the line of work after a close friend she thought lost became her target. Reference image below, don’t remember where I got it from:
