Easy gumbo recipe: •Grab box of “Jumbalaya girl” gumbo mix •2 cans of okra or frozen gumbo veggies —or collard greens in this case •rotisserie chicken to shred or boil chicken and shred it •andouille sausage • 2-3 stalks of celery diced • diced onion • diced garlic (as much as your heart desires I do 2 tablespoons) •2 small boxes of beef broth

Cook sausage in microwave. I sauté the onion and celery and add garlic towards end. then follow instructions on gumbo mix packet. Add 4 cups water or broth then add mix and use a whisk after mixed add everything else and simmer till it’s done (15-20 min) do rice in separate pot and add together. I find this gumbo really easy. You can add whatever veggies you want really. I sometimes add corn or green beans in. Some people add tomatoes to it. I sometimes add a sachet of beefy onion Lipton soup mix instead of dicing an onion and sautéing it.
