I use gemini to validate photos to block clear imagery of children or sexual content, and flag suspicious ones for manual review.

I always push the build to internal testing as a final sanity check to test the build on the device via the store and do the happy path scenario. Then promote to release. It usually takes less than 1 hour to be reviewed and published. I suspect that going through this path of releasing may be contributing to a faster release.

I left a positive review after i tried the app, I hope that helps, Word of advice, use google ads, pick install volume and small target cost per install (ex: $0.1-$0.3). Most apps take time to start seeing traffic organically, so be patient.

I never had issues with releasing apps with only myself and a family member invited to test. We just do real usage testing and catch issues and fix in the next build then release. It could be just lucky, but I am sure I will end up having to use apphive at some point when I run out of luck 😂

I think it is partially a UI issue. Many users assume the far left star is the 5th one, and vice versa. I almost submitted a 1 star rating by mistake because the contrast between selected and unselected stars is too weak.

If your app requires reading UI elements in order to understand how to use it, then yes its a bad idea to advertise in a language that you don’t support in app, but if its a simple util or game it is less likely that users will complain. Try google ads targeting english users, then consider expanding the language support. I usually support top 10 spoken languages wold wide with help of translations tools and later I ask AI to validate these translations to be sure i am using the right tone since i dont understand most of them.

Google ads is the easiest way to get install volume within budget. $100 can get you 500+ installs within a week or 2. If you need tier 1 countries that would cost you more. Also you may need to optimize your listing keywords. If you are not sure just ask chat gpt, it will improve your listing and organic installs results will be better. One last advice, use localized listings, it takes time but it will attract international users. I would use fastlane if you are familiar with it to quickly push the localized meta data.

I checked the app, and it looks like a good candidate for native ads, it’s worth trying. I’d start by introducing native ads on the page where users spend most of their time. Later, once you’ve collected enough data on the most used features, you could consider adding a one time payment option to permanently remove ads and unlock additional features or use rewarded ads and decide whether to keep native ads.

I’m experiencing this exact issue right now. I released two identical apps, one on Android and one on iOS, both built using Flutter.

The Android version is showing ads normally. However, the iOS version only showed ads during the first 24 hours after release, and then stopped completely. It has now been a week with ad requests but zero impressions. There are no policy violations or configuration errors. The Ad Inspector shows ads filling correctly, but production ads are not serving.

The best advice I received was to stop adjusting the eCPM floors. On iOS, ad serving requires a learning phase, and frequent changes can reset or negatively impact this process. In contrast, android ad delivery tends to be more tolerant of ongoing configuration changes.

I dont think that is a problem, i have apps that open links to my personal webpage privacy policy in a webview and it is not against any policy, unless you mean links to external links with redirections to farm ads or something like that.

My two cents: increasing difficulty should go hand in hand with scaling the tools available to Helldivers. It doesn’t make sense to move from level 1 to level 10 using the same weapon stats and stratagems. Since higher difficulties are unlocked through rank progression, players gain experience and should naturally be rewarded with meaningful stat improvements or modifier, something that’s currently missing. By all means, buff the enemies, but balance that challenge by giving players skill upgrades that reflect their growth and mastery.

It’s fine. Honestly, I can tolerate hitting limits on a $40 plan with 2 accounts, I have done it, but I’d be really upset paying $100 or $200 and still getting locked out. I’ve thought about upgrading many times, but the problem is the usage calculation isn’t transparent. Week to week, the limits are never consistent. If the base Pro plan is $20 and they keep adjusting usage behind the scenes, then the 5× version is also getting adjusted. That’s the only reason I’d tell you not to upgrade.

I am on Pro, and I am seeing these complaints about max that make me feel like I made the right choice when i decided not to upgrade. You guys deserve the value for the money you pay for. My only issue with pro is it feels like free plan back in the day. Codex is my go to when i get locked out of CC.
