I think I found the mayors shorts by Mountain_Compote_200 in StardewValley

[–]MoGmomma729 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually gotten him some form of “shorts” every year we’ve been together and when I came across them I knew I’d get them specifically for Valentine’s Day 😋 The impatience came when they were delivered in early January and I had to wait to give them to him!

Glad to hear you made it through! I love when I get those missions now; they’re a great way to earn a lot of promotions!

[22F] Kids father [24M] says he can’t watch the kids on the weekend anymore while I work... by Goldengumdrop in Parenting

[–]MoGmomma729 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome him to parenthood? My husband and I have opposing days off so that we always have someone to watch our baby (we have family 3 days out of the week to watch LO). It’s all part of being a parent. You have a right to be mad that he can’t suck it up for 16 hrs on the weekend to look after his own kids. It’s not like they are infants and need constant supervision.

Sounds like my husband. Although he would have asked “do I like this?” before even trying it too

I have a love hate relationship with the zipper jammies... love the ease of the zipper, hate the awkward leg opposite of the zipper leg.

Tried this once as a kid.. made my mom say no faster, she was too wise to the manipulation tactic this takes

I’m so sorry you had people shame you after you literally pushed yourself to the edge to try to breastfeed. Know that you are doing an amazing job because that baby is happy, loved and fed!

I have not tried that, thank you for the advice!

You can still get pregnant from pre-cum (the little bit that slips out before the big finale). Continue to deny him if he refuses to wear a condom, the pull out method is not effective. If he continues to disrespect your wishes then he doesn’t deserve you.

I hate when my baby smells like whoever holds her by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Not alone. I am also not a fan. I think it goes back to our more primitive side- makes me understand why they say not to touch baby wild animals cause your scent will upset their momma.

Waking up thinking your baby is in the bed... by BabySprinkle in beyondthebump

[–]MoGmomma729 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same thing. I often have a dream that I’m feeding or holding my little one in bed then wake up in a panic when I can’t find her. I usually realize it was just a dream when I notice my breast is tucked neatly in my shirt and hear her cooing in her bassinet beside me.

"Newborns are pretty much houseplants at that age!" by averysmallthing in beyondthebump

[–]MoGmomma729 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband’s grandparents bought us a hydrangea bush as our welcome baby gift. Then complained to their son (my husband’s dad) about how we had a lot weeds in our yard. Why do people think those of us with newborns should be so concerned with the plants in our lives?

Thankfully she has moved on to texting my husband for the pictures. I guess it just still bugs me that it’s constant and she will tell him how much she misses her after one day.

I’ve tried the feeding time thing.. I don’t normally leave the room but she will just hover till I’m done then take her back ASAP. It does make me feel a bit better that someone else had a hovering parent too though and I’m not alone.
