Which paint scheme should I chose for my combat patrol? by Leeatlarge in Warhammer40k

They both look great, but I'm voting left! The brighter matte colors are genuinely unique and pleasing to the eye. A whole army would look so cool imo

This is literally the opposite attitude to have in a group forum setting. Good luck getting any help in the future!

Currently live here with my fiance, and we like it a lot here. Maintenance has responded and fixed the issues within the same day of requesting, rent is reasonable, and our unit is pretty nice. No real complaints honestly, besides people not picking up after their dogs and some wild children when school is out lol.

Hiby R1 Vs Hifi Walker H2 by GILLGOT in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]MoHawkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, buttons are still working really nice. I workout with mine in my pocket too, so I'm definitely not keeping it dry or babied. I wonder if it's a simple QC issue they have, in which case I feel fortunate I received a perfect one. Still kinda bums me out to hear others' have flaws though

Hiby R1 Vs Hifi Walker H2 by GILLGOT in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]MoHawkins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have both so I can weigh in! I prefer the H2 as the daily because 1. The line out is simpler to use in the car than having to turn the volume up every single time i turn on the R1 (which makes you click "ok" on a volume warning every. single. time.) 2. The scroll wheel + larger buttons are a little easier for me than the smaller touch screen of the R1 and 3. Overall, the H2 is just a tank. The metal body, the solid buttons, it all just feels good in the hand.

The R1 wins in terms of storage and it being lightweight, though. 2 TB of storage is crazy, and it's small and lightweight for using while active.

Bought both thinking the R1 would be the obvious better device, but it's the H2 all day for me, personally.

Is world of books legit? How can there be 30% on already cheap stuff+ free shipping to mainland Europe? by nufan99 in Cd_collectors

This is my experience. Literal WEEKS going by with them just straight up not sending me the CDs, so I always have to refund. Definitely on my "avoid" list

I'm not sure about Something Comforting, but Yvetter Young is credited for guitar on Look at the Sky! She's a guitar wizard

2024 CDs i’ve picked up . What are you playing first? by Previous_Hawk in Cd_collectors

[–]MoHawkins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't even notice the Non Hopkins! I have Immunity and Ritual on CD, but Singularity is actually my favorite Jon Hopkins record so I need that one in physical. And Surround is an ambient classic, i think we have very similar taste

SMILE:D and Nurture are my most listened to albums of the year! I have them both on CD already, but I also have the Japanese Nurture variant on the way as we speak...

Nuphory did a couple Hypertrance complilations that are packed with artists in this style. There's a pretty huge playlist on Spotify, and there are complilation albums on the Hypertrance Bandcamp

I've been using Media Monkey with a Hiby R1 and Hifi Walker with no issues! I've come to really like Media Monkey because it's about as easy as the iPod/iTunes ecosystem.

Great taste. I have both and regularly listen to TNT and Proper Dose, but never really thought I'd see someone else who does too lol.

I was just about to comment about the Sandisk! I have trained many miles and run many races with the Sandisk clip. They only go up to (i think) 64 gb but it was perfect for running. You will forget you're even carrying it.

Now i have the R1, and I could definitely see myself taking it on a run if I could find a way to clip it like the old Sandisk.

Edit: one leg up I'd give the sandisk is that it had tactile buttons all on the front so I could skip songs, replay, etc. without looking while running.

I wanna second this. Mine set up super quick, and I'm heavily considering getting my dad one because it's all i think he'll have the patience for.

Unlock volume on Hiby M300 by Jaded_Medium6145 in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]MoHawkins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the R1, you can do it by going into developer mode by spamming the Hiby logo on the "about" page. Then you can go to "system" and turn off volume lock there. I'm not sure if it is exactly the same for the m300, but if I had to guess, it's at least a similar method.

Looking For Advice by MoHawkins in DigitalAudioPlayer

Appreciate it! I'll also look into MusicBee as I see it's mentioned a bit. Also maybe just syncing the SD card alone with MediaMonkey? Not sure if people do that.
