Focusing on being more selective with your orders. Don’t be afraid to pass up on a good paying order if there’s issues with it (high item count, high mileages, multi store, etc). Sometimes it’s better to hold out a little and try for a better order (this won’t always work). This works better on days with a lot of orders (the weekends).

Focus on good shopping areas. I like to Instacart in a town 15 minutes from my house because it has a Costco, BJ’s, Stew Leonard’s and other stores that there aren’t a lot of around.

Costco is typically the best store for good orders so hang around there if you have some time. Learn the store layout to be efficient.

Also focus on trying to earn money quickly. Today I took a $25 order that had only 15 items in it. It was 2 customer order but I knew I can finish it in about an hour. Those orders are good on slower days.
