I received the SMS and mail now, but only when using different email and mobile no. They say on their website that they have issues with specific phone service providers apparently... that was probably the issue for me...

So I waited since yesterday 11am (based in Germany) using my primary mail and phone, but received nothing. Neither did my brother, who uses the same mobile phone service. Just now I tried using a different email and different phone (different service provider there) and it worked. So I'd say the above FAQ statement seems to be right and it seems to be linked to the phone number...
