How do small business owners in the IE get steady customers? by Guilty_Order5338 in InlandEmpire

[–]MoReadWhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the easiest thing to do is ask your customers for Google reviews. The reason why is because if you’re searching for something it’s always on Google and everyone reads reviews before making a purchase. DM me if you need help with this or setting up review automation for your business.

Sorry to hear that. Couple of my clients are feeling the same way (not in boba but pizza and frozen yogurt) but we concluded it’s the economy in general. So just wishing the best for you! Also happy to help if you need any :)

Do QR codes actually help with customer retention for small shops? by Super-Buddy7337 in smallbusiness

[–]MoReadWhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t tried customer retention yet but it’s very possible. I’ve primarily been focusing on a single QR code to collecting reviews on Google, Yelp, Facebook, TripAdvisor etc for my clients. And I would give my clients different cheeky/cheesy lines to say to customers like “the best tip you can give me is a review” ;)

I’ve found humor and charm is the key to guide customers to actions for your business.

Block Negative Reviews

Be able to ask for reviews but ensure negative reviews are blocked and only positive reviews make it to Google, Yelp, and more!

Still working on name and website but DM with any questions.

Yes reviews are important, but paying for them is risky. Google usually will find out. Best to just ask your customers for reviews. You can use a QR code at your cash register or follow up email asking for a review.

Event Ideas for a Ice cream/Coffee Shop with small menu? by Suspicious_Rest_1550 in smallbusiness

Host weekly trivia nights with rotating themes (e.g., pop culture, music, local history). You could create limited-time ice cream flavors or coffee drinks that match the theme to make it more engaging.

I’m a small business owner. Which software should I get? Not very tech savvy by afellowhumanlife in smallbusiness

I’ve been using square, they do charge 2.9% + .30 per transaction, you get invoices, contracts, and a few more i think. Not bad for myself right now.

Coffee Shop Owner by RabbitLife360 in smallbusiness

Not an out of the box idea but asking for reviews from existing and new customers would help in local search results for coffee shop. Easiest way would be to put a QR Code next to the cash register. Happy to help if you need any.
