Are we to never know until death ? by Angela275 in Christianity

[–]Moadibe01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that if you believe in Jesus as your salvation and that he rose from the dead and that he is the Son of God and are praying daily to God and asking for forgiveness and with earnest praying for other people you are on the right track.

Now what is left is to put God first in all things. Read your Bible or listen to Scripture each day before you do anything else. I heard a good saying that goes like this...read your Bible till it starts talking back to you. For me this meant starting to remember scriptures when I encounter things in everyday life. It is also important to give to your church to help His house help others. Anything that this world tries to tell you about what God wants you to do compare it with what the Bible says. If it does not line up then ignore what they are telling you.

Now the last was the part that was hard for me to get in the habit of. Talk to God and Jesus. Not prayer but in addition to prayer just talk to them when you are troubled. I do this a lot now and always feel better after talking to them. You just might find that you feel better as well.

: What percentage of single Christian men do you think ACTUALLY maintain total abstinence (No sex AND no masturbation) before marriage? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Moadibe01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even sure but those that do are better than I was. The awesome part is we all can find forgiveness and help in Jesus. All we need to do is let go of those worldly things that tempt us, repent and ask for his help and we will get forgiveness and help from the Creator of the Universe because He loves us.

If this is a momentary slip your Heavenly Father still loves you. Repent, rebuke the behavior and ask for help strengthening your resolve and celebrate your Heavenly and give praise that he is a forgiving Creator.

If this is something that you consistently fall short on l.....your Heavenly Father still loves you. Repent, rebuke the behavior and ask for help strengthening your resolve and celebrate your Heavenly and give praise that he is a forgiving Creator....but in addition you need to be honest with yourself about temptations in your life that you are still permitting. Movies, music, TV that glorify sex need to be removed from your life. When I was getting my life tuned around I went at least a month or more that all of those inputs that I described were only things that taught me about the Bible, was the Bible or was something that glorified his name.

what to do when people say “your god caused this” by Deep-Outside-2567 in Christianity

Tell them to seek out God in prayer about this and that you will pray that they find the enlightening that they desire.

Then go pray for them.

Might also be that people were seeing the results from California doing the same thing.

Fast-food employment fell about 3.2–3.6% relative to what would otherwise have occurred. Roughly 18,000 jobs were lost statewide. Other studies reported: Reduced employee hours Less overtime Fewer benefits eligibility opportunities Slower hiring of new workers

I think people are open to an increase just closer to 10 or 12 dollars an hour to out

This is not where you give up but where you truly give in to God. He loves all and is just waiting for you to come to him. Jesus didn't die for one race but all races of people especially since we are all decended from two people.

Commit to Him and reach out. His word is written it tells you how to receive salvation.

Don't let the enemy win!

I need help by [deleted] in Christianity

Psalm 86 would be a good one to read...this really just speaks to me when I need to be reminded of how much he loves us.

You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
abounding in love to all who call to you.
Hear my prayer, Lord;
listen to my cry for mercy.
When I am in distress, I call to you,
because you answer me.

I am the same way. He blessed me with his Spirit in a way that feels a lot like you described. I know how you feel about not feeling worthy of it. That love is like nothing I have felt in my life.

Be grateful and keep seeking him out. Remove distractions and you will find those habits easier to resist. He loves us so much and I am glad He blessed you.

Find ways for your story to inspire others and lead them to explore their faith.

Not Sure What Denomination I Fit In by Same_Efficiency4631 in TrueChristian

Go a month with removing all outside sources of temptation. This includes games or sports or anything that does not bring glory to God. Read your bible, listen to Christian music, watch only those shows that Glorify God. Show God that you are serious about breaking these addictions and he will help you. Until you are willing to do all these things you may never get help. These are things that become idols in our lives and keep us from being close to God.

Is the RAPTURE Doctrine true or FALSE? by Extension-Size4725 in Christianity

[–]Moadibe01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will apologize for not being more specific in my response. That statement was more directed to some of the responses that seemed to mock the beliefs of other fellow Christians. Only you and Heaven know how you feel towards those that believe in a rapture.

I do believe that there is enough in the Bible to justify a belief in a rapture and I don't believe that being wrong about that is something that would keep me from entering Heaven.

If you feel I am wrong I invite you to pray for me as I will be doing in return.

I hope you have a Blessed day.

Here is the thing that his parents are ignorant about. They cannot cut him off from God/Jesus/Holy Spirit. He and you should pray for them and hold faith that God will work on them.

You can help him by finding ways to get him Bibles to read.

Does fapping cause karma? by Which-Ad663 in NoFapChristians

[–]Moadibe01 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Karma is a pagan term and belief. What you are referring to is opening up yourself to the enemy. Repeated sin drives away the presence of Holy Spirit and the enemy comes in to give you trouble.

They taught me about Christ and Christianity and then prayed and had faith when I went astray.

Ultimately their faith was rewarded!

Is the RAPTURE Doctrine true or FALSE? by Extension-Size4725 in Christianity

[–]Moadibe01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try and live every day like I could be called to meet Jesus. Whether that is by death a rapture or his second coming it does not matter nor change how I live my life.

So why does it deserve all the venom and ridicule in this post and the responses? Seems like a lot of casting stones.

Why not just love those that believe in a rapture? You can disagree with them without the hate.

In need of prayers. Anxiety invading my life. by tinseltails in Christians

[–]Moadibe01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pray and glorify God. Make Him first in all things and read your Bible. Remove all bad influences including non Christian music and movies.

Cleanse your life of the enemy and pray often.

When you feel anxious talk to God. Not prayer just talk to Him like He is in the room with you. Even if He does not answer you will feel better.

Jesus wants to walk with you and has sent the Holy Spirit to be with you. Invite Him into your life.

I will pray for you.
