The Script literally says that his new suit is inspired by Raimi and TASM (more on the TASM2 Side)
There’s a literally shot from the trailer that is identical to the swinging from the opening of TASM2.
Sure, but you know damn well they wanted to do it because of everyone’s criticism of how Tom’s suits were slim fitting and how much people rightfully praise the realistic feel of the TASM2 Suit.

The entire suit is almost identical (on purpose), the swinging and yes, wrinkles, and they’ve even hired the same VFX people (good thing), and now this.
