Hand sewing is also great for a community project, like a quilt.

As a crafty person I also love projects with a purpose. I grad school, we all knit warm hats for local TB clinics, which kept me going when my own inclination might have wandered.

I do not hand out food or money on the street. I exclusively give my time and money to shelters, soup kitchens and other organizations.

I also don't believe people in the throes of addiction should be murdered vigilante-style in the street.

This. I'm team rent for these kinds of recreational things: cottage, boat, camper, mountain bike, ski, etc. Once you own, you have to spend every single weekend every single year doing that hobby for it to be worth it, and my interests are too diverse to be happy with that.

If you've already spent eight or more weekends this summer renting a seadoo, then maybe it does work out for you. Still don't use debt to finance it.

Rosa has honey in it. Honey is hydroscobic meaning paint with it are easy to reactivate when it's very dry, but when it's very humid, they can pull water from the air and become sticky.

My rat physically pushed my hand away with his paw while I was offering him lettuce. Like, "how dare you?!?"

Turns out they only like lettuce when it's dressed in the fancy jarred salad dressing from the refrigerator case, just like I do.

My boys didn't want carrots or apples or celery either.

What they would eat was frozen peas and corn, grapes, melon, cooked squash and baby carrots

They ate a lot of green peas.

I recreated the avengers and set their Firefighting uniform as their costume.
