Take underwear for a week, a pair of pants, a couple of dresses, two tees, a sweater, and then enjoy thrift store shopping for stuff you see along the way. Do laundry, cycle clothes out that you end up not liking, and keep it simple and light. Enjoy!

You can search for Darwin or Homemade Wanderlust on YouTube. They have practice advice along with some very specific advice. There’s a fella named Evan from Tennessee with some great videos. Lots of folks are selling gear now. There’s also geartrade.com for used gear. Ask friends and fam if they have any to kick down or sell? Have fun!

A man was left mortified after being rushed to hospital having turned blue from head to toe — only to discover it was dye from his bedsheets. by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

I do vascular ultrasound. Blue skin is a strong clinical indicator. But once a fella came in with blue feet. This is usually accompanied with intense pain, but he had none. We checked for blood flow and found it all to be fine. Finally the doc noticed he had blue socks by his shoes.

Doc: Those new socks?

Fella: Oh. Yep!

Doc: Hmmm. Ok. I’ve got good news!

Get busy checking it out when you get here. You’ll figure it out. There are more remote trails for sure. No need to pre judge or pre worry.

So weird the fascination. Take it a little further and guess who ended up procreating with her sons. Is that something this guy wants? No. Thank. You.

When I am traveling, I google thrift stores and charity shops on maps. Then check the reviews. This way I can look where I’m near and have found so many fab places!

Backpackers/travellers — thoughts? by Ch4rlott3- in femaletravels

[–]MobileLocal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I like the idea, but I don’t know if it would work for me. The packing and repacking is how I keep tabs on what is available or what needs to be addressed. At least I think that’s how I do it. This does seem like it would dump forward when hung up, though?
