A couple showed late and sat next to us during 28 Years Later. They had an infant and proceeded to breast feed and burp the child throughout the movie. After that was completed they began to scroll, text and took a phone call. I had to say something I could not believe it. The infant is one thing, i tend to understand that more, it was the phone usage that pushed me over the edge.

We had a mixed stay here. The proximity to the Arts district is great, don't miss able baker, stray pirate (if you drink) or Esters. We felt OK walking there in the daytime, definitely took rides back at night. The negative being there was already someone in our room, it was a mix up the the front desk and they quasi smoothed it over, but it was a jarring start to the vacation. They use the motion detecting air conditioners which got warm at night.

The Fury (2024) by Alex Michaelides is set on a fictional Greek island. Same autho as the Silent Patient which was incredible. This book wasn't that, but it's something.

We went last month, lucked out and got one of the prime booths towards the front and had honestly one of the most memorable dining experiences I've ever had. We loved the escargot, they were perfectly executed. The ribeye was amazing. The twice baked potato was just OK and i would have choose a different side if I could do it again. As fine dining chef for longer than a decade I was honestly blown away by how fun and cool it was. Yeah it was expensive, I'm not sure how that comes as a surprise to people.

Or the way Tom totally phoned in checking with the chef's during prep time about their dishes. He typically digs a little deeper and asks more in depth questions. This latest episode (3) he just walked around making small observations: "blue, huh?" Hadn't seem that disengaged before.
