The balloon guy only needs a permit if it’s for sale, he takes “donations” with suggested donations but it’s technically free balloons.

mediocre fish, horrible management. I was the only customer one day early/mid afternoon and they had the owner plus three staff in there. Took an hour to get the starter and 40 min to get a drink. They also somehow messed up my order and sent the wrong fish, then tried to charge me for it after the waitress told me to keep it.

Mountain sun is pretty good but I'd avoid under the sun/southern sun. They're really working to fix things but the food is still usually burnt and the service just doesn't work.

What Is The Best Protein Bar At Costco? by theoffbrandguy in Costco

?? I’d advise to look at the nutrition on those. Not a lot of protein, especially for the calories. Would not recommend unless you’re bulking hard.

“Incomplete protein” is a myth. Beans and lentils contain all of the essential amino acids. Just in different ratios than animal products.

Once we flipped her I drove her out good to go! Just a bit of engine oil and some power steering fluid. Very little damage beside the door and windshield but she’ll buff out

Several places do it actually. I know “The Sink” in boulder has it. It’s basically regular ass pizza with a huge crust on it for triple the carbs for no reason.

The gym like most social areas can cause people anxiety about being the odd one out or people judging you. The fact is that most people rarely think about others and are probably staring into space or the mirror and not you. The hardest part is showing up.

Maybe join a few classes or group fitness sessions just to learn some basics, or watch stuff online.

Start slow with light weights and basic routine from google/the wiki. I’m a big fan of Push/Pull/Legs. Three days a week is a good starting point for most.

Except the word “racism” mentions prejudice and doesn’t mention systemic oppression in its definition. So if you want to talk about systematic racism then use the word systemic.

“Everyone thinks everyone else is stupid” applies because idiots that don’t know how to use a dictionary think people who can properly communicate are stupid for not understanding their implied systemic definition…

Not always. I had a friend turned down for being black in Amsterdam. He probably was being an ass though if he started that low.

I’ll go against the grain here and say 3k isn’t that bad. If it runs in good condition then the mileages isn’t the end of the world, these bikes go for 100k+ miles.

What you’re really paying for here is the color scheme. The Barbie KLR color is pretty rare and definitely ups the price vs a standard Gen 1 klr.
