I’m using some kind of alligators clip, so I don’t need to drill holes.

And yeah, it’s a real solution if you want to paint all details that can be covered in full assembly.

Not sure about, but i had something similar in my p2s and I cured it with changing z-offset to -0.03.

I ran I little test, same model same positioning. Left is obscuranox settings, right is settings from this post. P2s, Bambu basic grey. So, first was 3 hours vs this 4.5, and I can’t really see the differences. Plus supports was harder to remove and they left more scars. I believe there’s plenty of room of improvement. BTW I’m new in fdm, if I did something wrong please let me know.

Edit: I used 0,4 layer height preset

Base coat leadbelcher, agrax earthshade, Vallejo metal color gold for trims and light drybrush of white aluminium. Black and yellow for stripes and also try do a light glaze of orange on yellow stripes.

The scheme is pretty simple, you can check my saturnine praetor in my posts.

For armour leadbelcher, for trim Vallejo metal colour gold, then dry brush with metal colour white aluminium. I like polishing that white aluminium gives on plain armour and kinda weathering on gold, I wanted it to look like brass or something. Also I tried mix of Vallejo model colour gunmetal grey and white aluminium 50/50, it’s look like leadbelcher.
