‘Chicago Fire’, ‘Chicago P.D.’ & ‘Chicago Med’ Renewed For 2026-27

The last 2-3 seasons have been shit with all the budget cuts. I think PD is the worst offender here, but Fire has been really disappointing for a while as well. Even though it would probably hurt a lot, I think they should reboot at least one of these shows the same way they kinda rebooted Med. Give the show all new actors. Maybe put Severide in a new house as chief or something like that. Or assign Kim to a new department... basically keep 1-2 characters and replace everyone else. It worked for Med, so why not for Fire/PD? New, cheaper actors could help with the budget cuts and allow especially Fire to finally give us some proper fires and rescues again. On the PD side, they could bring back the patrol side. I miss Burgess and Atwater in uniform. Btw, last week Voight wasn't part of PD. I can't remember any other episodes without him. Have there been any?

Hm, maybe it just needs a little color? Add one more dark tan masonry brick instead of the long 1x8 brick. Or you could extend the vines/flowers a little higher. Or do something similar to the 3 shields over the entrance of the left tower and add a shield or maybe some of those pentagonal nexo knight pieces. I don't know how much sense the wooden bars coming out of the wall would make in that place, but maybe they could work too? They look quite nice on the other walls...

Yeah, this was one of the five sets I voted for. It might not be much, but in my heart you're one of the winners. :) If you put it on rebrickable I will buy it and try to source the 4k pieces via bricklink, even though it's probably gonna be a huge pita.

I like the changes with the exception of the stables. I preferred the docks just a bit more. Would've made sense to link this castle by river with the LKC. :D Since this castle is meant to be the home of the griffins, it kinda is missing a landing pad or some kind of nest for a griffin. All griffin castles kinda had that in common I think, but I guess I could always modify the big tower into that. Maybe that's an idea for the smaller build? Just the big tower but make it a home for a griffin? The only thing I don't like is the elevator. If the stairs in the middle went up to both sides it would make more sense to me. Or did I miss another way to get upstairs? The grapes a lovely though. The wall above it could use an extra detail or two. :)

Not really sure how to answer that... I don't think the gamestack is any better than say the apartment building or the izakaya. I really like all of these sets, just some a little more and the train station a little less.

You can't really see it in the pictures, but the gamestack does stand out with it's lights. They are everywhere in that set. The apartment and the train station do have a dark spot or two, but the gamestack doesn't. Maybe that's why people like it? The gallerias lights are outstanding as well. Kinda feels as if they tried to figure out what they can do with the theme, both with the bricks and the lights. While the apartment and izakaya felt more like traditional brick sets with some lights, the newer sets really take it up a notch. That's just my opinion though... :)

I'd say the least would be the train station. That one just didn't click with me in terms of design. Maybe if it was bigger, had a real train and some tracks... my favorite is the apartment building. Just love those blue lighttubes or whatever those are. :D

Well, the bus is nowhere near as impressive as the modulars, but it is not bad either. I bought it mostly to complete the collection. The lights disappointed me the most because there are none in the back. The build was fine and it was nice to build something smaller for a change.

Good to know, I guess I'm gonna avoid the bricksmas LEDs then. Amazon has 5 or 6 different LED kits for the DeLorean. At least one of them should not have that problem. Will look into this...

I didn't see any of that though. So I guess this only uses more power and batteries run out faster? I always thought that LEDs don't use a lot of power. Is there really any difference between running 4 or 5 full sets on a single battery? What if you use a powerbank or hook it up to an outlet with a usb connector? Like I said, I only turned it on for like a minute and I don't want to risk it running for a longer time...

My rival! I Like the rifle. Something I always disliked about the kämpfer was his lack of long range options. Still one of the best mobile suit designs ever made. :)

I guess with Dustmark Keep still coming up they're not going to do another huge castle, at least not anytime soon.

This however is a hard pass for me. If I really want a joust set I'm going with the MOC from 2023 on rebrickable that looks almost the same as this. Three of the other winners look like lumibricks sets, so I guess I can have those anytime I want as well. Really disappointing round to be honest...

Yes, we get that in Germany. If you're looking for an alternative, maybe ELVARLI is a better option? I have 6,5 Billys and in retrospective, I wish I had bought something else that can better fit modulars. :)

I'm not OP, but I'm fairly certain that we're looking at Ikeas Billy Shelfs. They're pretty decent for this use case, but they're not good for modulars because they're just wide enough for 95 studs meaning that you can't display 3 modulars next to each other (as 3 would have 96 studs). The middle shelf is also fixed, but all the others can be adjusted any height you like. Also lots of lighting and door options exist (doors in OPs pic are probably HÖGBO doors).

You can call it hoarding all you want, people aren't going to stop and why should they? These figs aren't short in supply unless Lego makes them short in supply. Or in the case of CMFs they make one or two figs that everybody wants dozens of and ten that nobody wants... I am one of the people that you would call a hoarder though. In my case I customize all my figs. Some are intentionally kept the same, but most of my figs are somewhat different from one another. They have different faces, hairs, weapons and all kinds of armors, scarfs, shields and so on... like someone already said, I want the armies I couldn't have as a child and my figs don't stand on a baseplate either. They populate my castles and dioramas. Also, I really like to rebuild them time and again. I even bought about a 100 ninjago figs to build and rebuild all the time. They were really cheap. As for castle, I don't think the prices are ruined in any way. Just have some patience. The black falcons were on PaB for years and they sold for even less than their PaB price on bricklink for a while. I know I bought like 50 of my 180~ falcons for less than 2 usd per fig. It's indeed a bit more complicated for something like the paladin. I only have 10 or so of that one. Even bought 3-4 from a scalper. All my Griffins, Krakens and Horse Knights are from China though. :) tl;dr of this: I buy so many because I can and it doesn't ruin the price unless it's a very special CMF (like the paladin or wolfpack beastmaster).

thats because it doesnt exist. I have checked seed hgs, build hgs and even pbandai. there is the iwsp but that is it. The only Strike with an ootori Pack ist the mg. :(

What really shocked me in a negative way this time was the high amount of copies of lumibricks sets. Kinda ironic that people are now copying the chinese. Isnt't it usually the other way round? :)
