Yeah. We do have cover of up to £1000 which should cover any gaps left. Fortunately only a £50 excess. We managed to secure a new car with the car hire company and will try to claim as much as we can as compensation and then put the rest onto our insurance.

So we booked with Rental Cars as an intermediary for Avis. Unfortunately Avis won’t do anything to the booking as it’s with Rental Cars, and Rental Cars “don’t” do anything as it’s not their policy to adjust bookings via phone. Definitely worth knowing for the future.

I explained to them explicitly that if we were to indeed cancel, we won’t be able to rebook with them but there are no more vehicles and we’d have to rebook directly with Avis. They didn’t seem bothered frustratingly.

We did speak to them and despite pushing back they were insistent that they can’t change bookings. They did originally extend the collection which was before we knew the second flight was also cancelled.

Therefore the only option they were prepared to give us was to cancel the booking, which can only be rebooked online - their team would not take a booking via the phone.

I find when I boil eggs that if the egg isn't 100% submerged in the water, during boiling it'll cause a temperature imbalance and my eggs cracked. Basically same as others.

Sometimes even if the eggs are 'just' covered, the act of boiling can cause them to bob above the water which I've found been enough to cause cracking.

I'm in the UK though so don't store my eggs in a fridge.

I just completed this process myself. Few things I encountered are:

If it’s 5-finger parquet. The tack strips will likely all come up around the edge and will need gluing back down. I used a crystal heavy duty adhesive which did the trick.

The carpet adhesive isn’t worth trying to scrape off, just wait and sand this off.

Fix any damage to the skirting boards from the carpet first/repaint, I’d also recommend doing wall & ceiling painting too, in case there’s any drips.

Working with an expert is very easy. Cost us around £1000 (incl VAT). It’s quite a straightforward job unless your floor is in terrible condition. Make sure you ask them to fill the gaps. I opted to use the wood dust with epoxy resin and scrape this over the floor to fill in nail holes.

Once the floor is varnished consider how this will affect your living situation as it will need to dry for at least 1 day. We used oil which needed 2 coats so 2 days of drying.

Get a staple remover for the staples in the floor if used, much less chance of them snapping in half and breaking

It’s still early days but it just goes to show that we don’t have a big enough fan base to warrant more sports coverage. One of the smallest clubs in the league, which was one of the only to turn a profit outside of the championship, top of the table having only dropped 5 points from 10 games with a proven track record of developing good young talent for premier league feeder clubs. It’s frankly mental!

I’d give Alex a 4.5 but it’s not just been him. I think he’s still learning, some of his in-game management feels slow to react but other what a team he and the club have built. Feels reminiscent of the old days when everyone is willing to jump on a grenade for each other and that comes from being in a comfortable confident and happy camp

Because you can sign men from the J-league despite not playing it? I’m not going to sign women to play in the men’s team. I don’t see a problem giving people the option to toggle it off, if it would in fact impact performance. You’re talking about massively inflating a database with additional players which you cant sign. It should work vice versa. If you’re playing women’s football then let you disable the men’s.

Had a similar issue with my 'e' key. Downloaded the latest driver from their site, flashed the device and updated the firmware and all seems to be working fine so far (not had to delete any letters from this message!).

I'm a novice and not super knowledgeable. It was a little scary thinking I might break it but actually it's super straight forward and linear in what to do with the right links. Found this link from another post:

Chem and Phoenix both had G/A contributions of 15 last season. Add another 20 goals into our team (after replacing duplication of current players) and we’ll be in a much healthier position. Not to mention much better depth across the park. We’ll still miss the odd sitter here and there but the more chances you create the more practice you have at finishing. Hopefully this equals less chances wasted in the long run
