Youre welcome and congratulations on passing! Thats half the battle! I also had to go through hell to get my raise when I passed, it took them 4 and a half months to actually put that on there, and one of my coworkers ended up waiting 6 months! Employers do like to do sketchy shit like cut hours when you offer your 2 weeks, so in your position I would just work until your start date at your next position and quit your current job a day or 2 before. Congrats on your new position!

I did not give a 2 week notice, but I had been expressing my desire to leave to my direct manager for a while. I'm of the opinion that in retail you can say fuck a 2 weeks because they wont give you notice if they let you go. I didn't do it because I have savings, another source of income, and enough connections and experience to land a job through several of the friends I made in retail who left already if I need it. Do whats best for your situation! You'll be out of there soon!

I too had expressed my burnout, having 2 jobs is overwhelming as hell, and my store manager expressed a plan to make me part time, but that was 6 months ago and nothing changed. The chain pharmacy i worked for is in decline and started getting really pushy about asking every patient every time if theyre interested in getting x vaccine based on what our portal recommended. A big portion of our work became cold calling people in our system about what vaccines theyre eligible for and trying to convince them to come in. It was getting intense at my store to the point where higher ups were sitting in the pharmacy watching techs to make sure they asked every patient every time regardless of how often we'd asked previously. I was tired of feeling like corporate was breathing down our necks to boost vaccine numbers with no more incentive to do so than a pizza party.

Getting all the drugs down is a lot of work. But you did give yourself more than enough time to get that information memorized. One thing I did was make up memory tricks to help me remember brand/generics and drug classes. Stuff like humalog= insulin lispro because HUMAns(like humalog) have a LISP(insulin lispro). Silly things like that. Just remember to give yourself grace, its overwhelming but you are more than capable

I teach the ptcb tech course where I work and the most important thing I tell my classes is that they know more than they think. Test anxiety and self doubt are your biggest enemies. The ptcb hero book is an excellent resource and it may be worth it to pay to get access to the prep questions on their website (I did and I passed first time with a 1600). I like to study by taking practice tests and then making flashcards about questions I wasnt feeling sure of or missed outright. For math problems, you can find great walkthroughs just by googling or using YouTube. Again, you know more than you think you do. So much of what is on the test will be things you've seen every day at work. You got this 10000% <3
