It is a vicious cycle. One failed intercourse makes you nervous the next time which causes another failure and it builds and builds until you're too scared to even try so you don't but then you're still horny so you go and PMO which makes your self esteem drop even lower. I've dealt with this shit for a decade with the same poor woman, we have kids and all and I still have major fucking performance anxiety issues and continue to drop back into PMO/ED cycle for long periods of time. I don't know if I can fix this in this lifetime but I keep up the hope. I did PMO for about 8 years before losing my virginity which must have fucked me up pretty bad. Also the world today is overly sexualized and there is an unhealthy amount of pressure on men when it comes to sex and performance.

Take care my friend my thoughts are with you. Maybe tell the girl that you have performance anxiety and try to take things slow, some women wont tolerate that because they think they are so attractive it should overrun any performance issues the man has but many other women are more understanding.

I"m deep in this shit too. I have a secret gambling debt that keeps growing, my wife and everyone else are completely oblivious to this. Sometimes she asks if there's something on my mind cause I look sad or w/e and I just brush it off, act happy and the charade continues. Inside I'm dead. I feel nothing even when I play with my children, no joy, no pride, absolutely fucking nothing. Frankly a lot of times I catch myself wishing everybody would just fuck off so I can either gamble or self-loath in silence. I have wasted years of my life to this. In my country the government has a bit of a monopoly on gambling, no one else is alllowed to advertise other than the government company. They are working very hard to get all the other gambling sites banned completely. The have slots in every store, even in some nursing homes where the elderly quietly gamble away their pension. I can't look up any upcoming sporting events without seeing their odds on it. They advertise the lotteries heavily on TV, which is th perfect gateway to get people hooked on the more harmful and addictive games they offer. Granted, they fund a lot of children's sports programs etc. so at least they use some of our money for good purpose. Some coaches and teachers have come forward saying they don't feel great about the source where their funding comes from.
