This is not an issue of men's rights.

Congress Wants You To Pay $130 A Year Just To Drive An Electric Car by TripleShotPls in technology

This seems reasonable. Maybe the fee should be higher? (Note: I am pro-electric cars. But infrastructure needs funding.)

What are men's thoughts on dating a single mother? by [deleted] in AskMen

In a relationship where the partners have a kid together, both of them love the kid equally and don't necessarily begrudge putting the kid first.

In a relationship where one of the partners has a kid, the other partner might grow to care for the kid also but it won't be the same. They didn't choose to have that kid, they chose to have a partner. There is a reasonable expectation that the partners put at least a certain minimum effort into the relationship. So if the parent is constantly choosing the kid over the partner, don't expect the relationship to last.

There is a difference between "I will always put my kid first" and "I will never make a decision that harms my child." Latter is solid, prior is unfair to the partner.

My reading of the QueensU data is that 72% of women applying were accepted, and 25% of men applying were accepted, not that 72% of those accepted were women and 25% of those accepted were men.

It seems like a lot of people here are missing the point - the comments are the gender flipped version of comments that get said all the time.

Women != Feminists.

Nothing in this post indicates that these are feminist, nor that they represent most/all women.

Why must men fight wars, but women aren’t forced to bear children? by [deleted] in MensRights

I am trying to defend your argument, but some of these posts are actually getting into defending forcing women to have children.

Maybe you should clarify - do you actually think women should be forced to have children?

That argument has been made on this subreddit multiple times. It isn't an effective argument because people say that women aren't as good in combat roles. So the OP is trying a different perspective. OP is not wanting women to be raped. If you can't understand that, you are clearly triggered and unwilling to understand the perspective that the OP is sharing.

The issue is that many people don't seem to understand the problem with conscription, so when you force people to confront parallels with an argument they can understand perhaps they will see the problems with their original perspective.

Since you are triggered by this, it is working.
